not even close. He'll make boatloads more money in NY then he ever will in Denver.

He's got a 3 year $65 mil deal on the table from Denver

and if he waits as year the knicks will make that look like chump change.

Then they'd have no chance to go after another top guy which would be pretty retarded since Carmelo and Amare wouldn't lead them to anything

Melo will make a ton of money besides his contract in NY.

CP3 seems to be serious about this. Also Melo being a NY guy this could be a very real possibility in a year. I think the odds are better then 50/50 right now.

This is ridiculous. I wish bad luck on both franchises.

not really, Heat only have like 7 guys on roster right now. The REAL problem is NY would probabaly have to eat the Okafur contract for a little while and that might prevent them from getting Melo or some other help.

Chris Paul has asked for a trade so this could happen.

yep rumors are Knicks, Magic, Mavs and 2 other teams were on his wish lisgt

The Mavs I believe could have the cap space to get this done and playing with Dirk would be a nice career move for him.

Dirk only has a couple of years left. He would be better off signing in NY with Amare and Melo who will sign next season.

NY does have that kind of money and Dirk is loved more in Dallas then he ever would be in NY IMO. I don't think that is a very good fit for Dirk. NY better worry about how they can get CP3 and Melo. Got to find a way to ditch Okafur because he would probably be in the CP3 trade and taking up too much money to get Amare, CP3 and Melo together.
