| The thing is, they overpay for certain fights preventing them from putting on BETTER match ups than what they offer

| Look at 2009
Williams vs Martinez Diaz vs Marquez Mosley vs Margarito Bute vs Andrade Vitali vs Arreola Maidana vs Ortiz Julio vs Kirkland Wright vs Williams Berto vs Collazo Cotto vs Clottey
And they only had two major PPVs, Marquez vs Floyd & Cotto vs Pac
They did a waaay better job last year

They did a waaay better job last year But we're halfway through the year. Add a couple fights at 126 (already scheduled), a couple at 140 (I believe Bradley and Alexander will both be on HBO), Angulo or Dzinzurik against quality, Dawson-Pascal, and a Pac-Floyd megafight and I'll rank this year higher in terms of quality fights made. |

| Showtime for me, they're always broadcasting entertaining fights from the lower divisions. |

| HBO for me.
Arreola-Adamek Cotto-Foreman Angulo-Yorgey Berto-Quintana Martinez-Pavlik Williams-Cintron (It's the thought that counts) Khan-Malignaggi
Plus alot others.
Showtime needs to get rid of Gus Johnson and bring back Steve Albert.

| I enjoy showtime more. They don't have as many big names, but the guys they do have are usually younger, often from weight classes HBO doesn't show, and they are matched tougher. | |
