Ken got popped for steroids sometime after that fight thats why he had the layoff, i believe he got popped in prep for the Lashley fight

it sucks cause i am positive Ken would have beat Kimbo the night Seth did and I think Ken would have beat Lashley as well

So did Clifton die of a heart attack or did his big ol ass choke on something? What food was it if it was the ladder?

That was Kurt Cobain joke cold!

Not sure how green Lash is? I would put my money on the LnP LASH. I agree that Ken would have beat Kimbo. I see them telling Ken to stand with him and Ken caring about the sport giving Kimbo a few leg kicks and taking it to the ground and it's curtains for Kimbo.

I was watching it with about five of my friends and my neighbor who knew one of my boys I grew up with that was there. Most are black and they were all talking about Shamrock had his boy hit him in the face cause he was scared. Kimbo was this and that. Only one other dude there was a real MMA fan. He said this Seth dude will prolly win too. They clowned him and then it happened. I was like the dude has pink hair, even though I had scene him on TUF I played it like he was from parts unknown and was just joe blow. Funniest shit and MMA memory I have. The hood was hurting that night. I was like this is the guy you said would beat Randy and Chuck? serious??? lol

ya it was shocking, to say the least, theres a good Bas Rutten interview where he is talking about the loss and Ken and he says "I talked to Ken, he apologized, his head wasnt in the right place, he was pissed and rolled harder than he should have, he told me he will still kick imbo's ass if I want"

it was classy of Rutten he stuck up for Ken, Kimbo and Seth.

Frank Shamrock tried to get cleared to fight Kimbo that day but they wouldnt, i shudder to think how bad he would have whipped Kimbos ass

Oh I remember and I was wishing Frank got cleared and came out smaller than Kimbo and kicked his ass. Kimbo outweighed Frank and I think that was the problem.

It looks like Australia isn't on "Sapp time."

Gargantuan heavyweight and entertainment personality Bob Sapp (11-6-1) today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that he has been pulled from a fight with Soa Palelei (9-2) at "Impact FC 2: The Uprising - Sydney."

Sapp, who is currently in Bulgaria after recently completing work on a remake of "Conan the Barbarian," said he received an email today from the Australian MMA startup informing him that the promotion would not fly him to Sydney for the July 18 fight because the plane ticket is too expensive.

"Just like that," Sapp said.

Impact FC formally emerged this past month with an ambitious plan to hold three MMA events packed with well-known veterans on three consecutive Saturdays. The first event took place this past Saturday in Brisbane and featured Josh Barnett, Rameau Thierry Sokodjou, Jeff Monson and Karo Parisyan.

Sapp was set to join several marquee fighters on the July 18 event, which is headlined by UFC veterans Ken Shamrock and Pedro Rizzo.

The 6-foot-5, 350-pound fighter said he had assembled a training camp in Bulgaria to prepare for the bout and spent at least $10,000 on coaches, training partners, and living expenses.

"We had all the paperwork completed," Sapp said.

At the same time, Sapp wasn't shocked by the last-minute cancellation and speculated the promotion's ambitious schedule might be at fault. In the past, he required promoters to put his fight purses in an escrow account before he signed on the dotted line. This time, he didn't.

"That's why they used the loophole, and that's why they jumped," Sapp said.

Impact's promoter, Tom Huggins, could not be reached for comment on the situation. It's unknown whether Palelei will fight on Sunday.

The heavyweight said his team plans to draft a formal letter to the promotion asking for reimbursement of his expenses. If that fails, he may take legal action.

"I'm not going to allow anybody to screw me over," Sapp said.

Sapp has fought the bulk of his bouts in Japan, where his oversized physique and persona have made him a star. This past October, he was defeated by Sokodjou in the semifinal of DREAM's "Super Hulk Tournament."

Most recently, he reversed a three-fight slide with a win over Sascha Weinpolter at K-1 ColliZion 2010 in Croatia.

But today's experience left a bitter taste in his mouth.

"What I never liked is that I go to these other countries and they just treat fighters and people like crap," Sapp said. "It's just rude."

"For three weeks, we tried to get Bob to commit to flight dates and sign a contract. He never actually signed the contract we sent him weeks ago. We needed to have this stuff taken care of weeks ago. You get on the phone with Bob, and two hours later, nothing gets accomplished. Bob is a business guy, too. He knows that sometimes things happen that make deals untenable. You can't just get three plane tickets out Sofia, especially for Bob Sapp. He's 350 pounds; he can't fly coach. Getting all the right connecting flights out of Bulgaria can't just be done last minute. The tickets were getting more expensive, but it was never a price issue. Bob was actually very reasonable about money. It was the logistics and time. None of this would've been an issue if he wasn't in Bulgaria. That made the logistics really hard: there were major visa issues for these guys coming to Australia, they had to be consulate-issued. We just weren't getting the help we needed from Bob to get it done properly."
