What we saw last night truly a championship performance. To rebound after being dominated so throughly in all aspects in the first round to pull out what was truly one of the most brilliant Noguerian submissions in UFC history was quite a feat to behold. I always assumed Lesnar was a front runner who would fold under pressure, but this proves otherwise. More than ever I'll question his status as an unbeatable hulk but I won't have neary so many questions for his chin and his heart. I still don't think he likes to be hit, and him fleeing in terror across the cage from Carwin will be hard to live down, but the W ultimately is what matters and the way he got the W was quite gutsy.

Shane said all along he'd teach Lesnar the respect of a champion, and last night he made good on that promise. Even if he walks home empty handed in defeat.

For the first time I truly respect Lesnar as a fighter.

If he isn't an unbeatable Hulk can he be a Terrorbird?

he made a fan out of me tonight. I was extremely impressed by him overcoming that 1st round because he really was getting his ass handed to him. Then he came back and got a quick takedown and the next thing i know Brock Lesnar is executing a beautiful arm triangle. I am extremely impressed at how his skills are developing. And he acted very classy and represented this sport they way it deserves. Props to Lesnar.

And i don't think this is the last we've heard from Carwin. Im not sure what happened in the 2nd round but he looked gassed. Maybe he couldn't handle that huge adrenaline dump after he tried so hard to get the finish in the 1st round.
