GolbeZ beat BirdofThad to be the new number 1 contender. bobbitt15 is ranked number 2 now and will be fighting for the number 1 contender's spot with chorky777 who is on absolute fire after top scoring the past 2 events. Andrew the Raider is in the picture as well.

You don't get an extra champ on your record for defending it.

Not stupid at all LOL, that's the way we've done it, everyone would be a 1x Champ otherwise except Timmy who have 2 and 2 defenses and me who'd have 3 and 5 defenses, but you could be a 1x Champ and defended 10x and no one would know. The way it's done is fine.

Will the standings ever reset? I know they started fresh when we left espn but I'll have no chance to get anywhere near the top without a reset.

That only matters for Ratio Champ, and it resets at the end of the year and the Ratio Champ for the year is named. Everything else is based on event to event picking, better you do, more likely ul get a Title shot.

Although the "ratio" champ has nothing to do with having the best ratio. It's more of a +/- champ.

If you go excellent in your tipping for about 4-6 months then you get put in a number 1 contenders match. If you win you get a title shot.
