Is Werdum the sport's top HW?

This thread will take over for the few we had that turned into a circus. Without being rude or nasty continue the discussion here.

I'm going to say yes considering he worked his gameplan against Fedor and it paid off. You beat the man, you're the man.



Even if I were rooting for Brock, the spectre of him losing and the insanity that would result here would also be hilarious.

Should have just been a yes or no since you're asking if he's the top HW

I'd also say it was more of a bad gameplan by Fedor

I got Brock. Hell I had him number 2 before last night and with number 1 going down brock is my choice.

Brock for now but I see Overeem on the horizon.

I was gonna pick Mir but went with Chiek Kongo instead because of his great ground game.

Paul Buentello is clearly the #1 Heavyweight, Fedor ducked him for years.

Well now the truth is gonna come out that James (Lights Out) Toney is the true number 1 HW in the world.

I usually do my rankings by wherever your opponent was you get his slot....so by that, i would have Werdum has the top HW but i'm not set on that. I'm waiting until after the next UFC card.

Werdum wouldn't be able to get a tight triangle on Brock because he is so massive. Brock would have picked him up and powerbombed him thru the cage. Not to mention Brock would've went to side mount and not let Werdum get in that position. Mir tried like hell and Brock just tossed him around to get a better position to GnP him.

Werdum would not beat the HULK!

LOL @ the idea Brock is anatomically unable to be sub'd. The power out theory is possibly legit, but Brock has long arms that would be easily ripped off.

I think they were saying that he couldn't be choked with a triangle, not subbed at all.

Yeah IMO Brock is only susceptible to any leg subs
