New York vs. Chicago

Which style of pizza do you like better?

Chicago's deep dish, or New York's thin crust.

I have to go with thin crust, I just like crispy pizza.

Yep, I agree man, thats where my vote went as well.

I always liked this debate because it is pretty wells split nationwide as far as who prefers what.

never cared for deep dish its to thick and greasy and after two pieces you feel sick. Thin crust you can eat as much as you want and get all the flavors of the toppings. Rather eat a calzone before deep dish.

True chicago style blows any new york slice out of the water..

I've had chicago style pizza in downtown chicago many times and i'm not saying its bad, i like it but thin crust is just the way to go imo, ive never even had a true new york style pizza i just prefer thin crispy pizza

I mean.. if the topic was just Deepdish vs Thin Crust.. I would pick thin crust..

But I was assuming that it was Chicago style vs New York Style...

and is not crispy.. its actually quite flimsy, so you can fold it down the middle..

MMM looks delicious, but Italian pizza hands down is the best pizza in the world IMO

Had both at the legit famous places in both cities for them, Chi-town deep dish is good, but nothing beats New York at it's finest
