KJ Noons vs Jorge Gurgel on Aug 21st SF card

Nice! Should look something like his last fight, unless Jorge switches shit up and tries to jitz this fool.

Jorge isn't smart enough to do anything other then look bad in his attempts to box with people.

Jorge just beat Huen in a FOTY canidate last year who in turn had a great war with Noons.

Well now I'm dumbfounded, but Jorge hasn't subbed anyone in over 5 years and has never KO'd or TKO'd anyone in his career. He should be a trainer and leave it at that.

Absolutely a shoot out. Hyper aggressive fighters in MMA can have good success against these counter boxers if they don't mind and are able to eat plenty of shots during the process.

Well, it's a really really interesting fight if Gurgel breaks out the tool box....but i fully expect Gurgel to go in there swinging and we'll get something similar to Noons-Heun, which was a really good fight. Like Heun, Gurgel is a good enough striker to hang but Noons will keep landing damaging shots and take over the fight.

Gurgel wants to put on a show but he needs to realize that you don't get prize money for stealing the show in SF quite yet. Winning bouts should be his priority and Gurgel is such a well rounded talent it's a shame he's not atleast considered on level with somebody like Roger Heurta.
