Sorry, the original Office was genius, Gervais and Merchant were able to create classic comedy moments but also work in some top class drama. The American version is good but it's no where near as good as the original.

Sorry but the great idea was taken to new heights by the genius of Steve Carrell. His character mixed with an outstanding supporting cast puts it in a entire different league. Sorry but the American version is far, far superior.

Yeah I have seen it...it comes on Adult Swim....How many episodes of the American series have you seen? They do a brilliant job with the characters and chemistry. I probably didn't give the Brittish version a fair shake but you have to see as much of the American version as possible...it is a must.

I've only seen a handful of episodes of the American version, and from what I saw I liked, but I could tell from the tone of that version that it will never top the original's great awkward and touching moments.

You must watch more. The comedic genius of that show is beyond words. It took me a couple episodes to adjust because the format is so different from other shows. But the characters they created are just awesome. Michael vs Tobi, Jim vs Dwight....Nard Dog? Classic, just classic.

I think the British version is just as good if not better than the American. The thing that the US version definitely has over the UK version is supporting cast though. I think most of the people on the UK version aren't funny but Gervais easily makes up for all that is the funniest person on either show

Yeah I thought that supporting cast was great before they started getting other major roles. Hell even The Temp got a role in Inglorious Bastards. Pam was in Blades of Glory and other things. Dwight had the movie The Rocker and some other shit. Jim had that movie with Clooney and some others. Nard Dog was in The Hangover. Daryl popping up in comdies. All those characters on the show are just great IMO. Dwight's character is genius.

Extras was a good show
Put it there LA.
I'll never forgot the Kate Winslet scene from Extras, talking about all the different phone sex scenarios.

Just watched Adventureland. I thought it was a pretty good movie. Not as funny as I thought it would be, but it was still a movie I would tell people to watch if they were looking for something new.
