Yes I noticed the split, but that wasn't even a KO punch Well honestly, nobody can really say that it wasnt a KO punch...Chuck may have been slightly dazed from earlier in the fight. (Dont argue and say no way, cuz Rich was landing some big shots on him). Even though it didnt look like it had much power behind it, the fact remains that it was a straight uppercut, and those punches tend to have more power behind em, even with less force being used, and he cut Chuck square in the jaw. That coulda knocked down or out quite a few fighters IMO. | |

| He was slightly dazed when he was coming forward putting it on Rich? Sure Franklin landed some shots, so did Chuck, infact Chuck was winning the fight until that point, then got KO'd in one of the weakest KO punches I've ever seen. None of the people I was watching with made a sound, most were shocked and generally sad that Chuck's career has ended like this. | |

| as for the ko i was disappointed, i was hoping for just more more vintage chuck ko, but it didn't happen like that. But i still appreciate the way he fought, he was gonna leave it all in the cage and go for it and he did, respect. | |

| Yeah the sauce was talking for sure last night. I give the fights an 8 and the card for me was a 6. I am still pissed about Chuck and Danzig. I do think Barry for whatever reason had CC rocked with the 2nd shot and just stood there and did nothing. I don't know why?

| I've only seen a few of the fights. Seemed like an average event really. CC win is nice. Another pathetic Liddell KO just when he started getting going really sucked though. I'll watch the whole thing now and see if it was any better. Missing it live and having it losing the "Event feeling" means I just know the results of what was before and after a truly irrelevant card on paper. | |

| Barry was the only one dumb enough to stick to that whole "if you want take it to the ground i wont either" BS. Then he got choked out because this is mma, not k1 which im not sure he realizes yet. | |

| I had to watch the Chuck fight in slow motion because of the copy I downloaded. It really exposed how horrific his skills and defense are now and how badly he was overcommitting to everything. Looking back at the end of his reign, he probably would have started losing a lot sooner if he fought any good strikers when he was fighting 40 year old wrestlers tryin to slugfest and Tito.
The slow motion though built a weird kind of tension though that made for a really cool feeling during the action packed fight, until the deflating truth of Chuck's horribly eroded beard sucked the air out of the room.
RIP Iceman. | |
