| THE 2 greatest 205ers ever. Rampage is the only one, but it took him 3 trys to beat Wand. Rich has a chance to add his name.
Tito has beaten Wand, but has been KO'd twice by Chuck.
Jardine is 1-1. He won a weak decision vs Chuck, but Wand almost ended his life.
I don't think anyone else has fought them both.

Not true. Rich clearly won. Wand looked like he could never get going vs Ace.

| Chuck Liddell is not in the top 2 light-Heavyweights anyway. At their peak he'd never beat Mauricio Rua, Lyoto Machida, Quinton Jackson or Wanderlei Silva. |

And Wand only beat one Jackson who later avenged it. Chuck did beat Tito and Couture in their primes.

| Chuck is a bad match up for Wanderlei any time they fight due to his wrestling ability, length and the fact he is a straighter puncher. IMO.
Anyway Wandy was robbed, I convinced myself of that somehow and I don't remember how I came to that conclusion but it's my wholey unsubstantiated opinion.

| If we're talking based on talent, yeah maybe Chuck isn't the best LHW ever anymore, but if we're talking resume, Chuck is still #1 or #2 alltime at LHW. | |

| I definitely think Chuck is a top 1 or 2 alltime LHW. I also think Ace isnt going to beat Chuck either. | |

Seriously, if he had fought only in pride instead of the UFC during his career until it closed would he have ever been champion? I don't think so. |

Tough to say with the wrestling he has and with the great KO power in both hands I dont think it would have been that far fetched to say he may have been a champion.

| People are skewed by Chuck's performances lately. He's definitely one of the best ever at LHW and he had an absolute epic showdown with Wand. That still stands as my favorite fight of all time.
Again, I think we will see vintage Liddell against Ace. I can't wait. If Chuck ends up face down on the canvas again I think I will puke...especially with Rich Franklin standing over him.

| Chuck has been KO'd badly by Rampage, Evans and Shogun. All of those fighters are knockout punchers. Evans may not seem to be at first, but Evans has solid speed and power. His GnP knocked Forrest lifeless and he sent Rampage flying across the cage. Maybe Chuck has a glass chin now or maybe his situation is like Wanderlei Silva's, where he only gets hurt and rocked badly by the most powerful strikers in the game. | |

Very good point Wolf. Chuck has been KOed by pretty hard punchers but with the devastation of how he was KOed in those fights it just certainly looks like Chucks chin cant hold up anymore.

| Only the Evans KO was devastating. He just flash KO'd in the other fights. He might have even been able to continue those fights under Pride refs, when guys can be hammered for significantly longer. Wandy on the otherhand was in dreamland with each KO. | |

| Yo, I watched Franklin-Wandy again on Unleashed just now, Wand def did more damage in the second and third rounds, and came close to finishing Franklin each time. Wandy was robbed. | |

Nope Wand has more power in his hands, but Franklin lands more and controls the fight.

| The fight left me feeling like there was no clear winner. It is a philosophy difference in scoring situation. Wand wins that fight under Pride rules. Control was a big advantage for Franklin, damage was a big advantage for Wanderlei. | |

| I might lean Ace if I wasn't such a Wand homer. Hard to say, as I usually favor the guy who was closer to finishing the fight in a round that was otherwise close.
The fight and especially the follow up against Bisping proves though that Wanderlei may not be completely shot.

| Make it for a 195 lbs title and I'd be cool with it!
ABC soup wouldn't be as big of a problem in the UFC as it is in boxing where there are 200 titles and 200 weight classes and no one place to go to find them or their fights.

| I could easily see an argument for Wand winning that fight. In real time I still scored the 2nd round for Franklin despite being buckled | |
