2 outs in the ninth of a PERFECT GAME and the ball is hit on the ground to Miguel Cabrera who fields it cleanly with armando Gallaraga covering first , Cabrera makes the throw and Gallaraga makes the catch and the runner is clearly out by a step and called safe!! Complete and utter bullshit.

Complete and utter bullshit. I believe they can still dispute it to the MLB's Committee for Statistical Accuracy.. or maybe I am way wrong.

| I dont think they can give it to him. Once it is called by the ump it is final on a play like that. | |

| Who cares...the prestige of the no hitter/perfect game is pretty much shot to shit this season...It's becoming the new complete game shut out. The hitters in this game are weak sauce right now...get victor conte on da fone.
and yes, i'm kidding. However, i am beggining to get far more unimpressed by no hitters and perfect games. Roy Halladay threw one and i couldent bring myself to give a shit since Dallas Braden did just a few weeks ago. Good thing Jonathan Sanchez threw one on my birthday when it still meant something to toss a no-no.

Shit, it's only been done like 20 times in the history of baseball...and that's a long fucking history. To take it away from someone is ridiculous. The commissioner should just change the ruling, period. Fuck the rules of baseball, give the dude his perfect game.

| Can you at least count that hit as an error(on the UMP) and give him a no hitter? | |

| Bad call yes, but I respect the outcome in the aftermath. The ump was remorseful and admired and apologized for the error in his call post game after seeing a replay. Galraga showed a lot of class by giving the guy a hug and saying it was alright, people make mistakes. Even Leland surprised me after the game. In pro sports these types of things are usually followed by colossal shitstorm tantrums. This, while having a touch of tragic, was dealt with impressively. | |

| Too bad about the call... Props to the ump and Gallaraga for their acts after the game... And no one's at fault but Selig on this. We are all human and make mistakes. The ump blew a call... It happens every day. Selig had a chance to add instant replay and chose not to because he wanted the human element (Mistakes) left in the game. Selig's an idiot. An extra couple of minutes in the occasional game gives or takes away key hits, home runs and outs... You can't get much more key than this. This kid had a chance to have his name etched in the record books as #21, but doesn't even get a spot in the no-hit club... | |

| Apparently GM has given Gallaraga a new Vette to help ease his pain. I hope it's the ZR1 and not the GS... If you're going to give a gift, you can't be cheap about it... | |

| Does the HOF usually take something after perfect games? Like a ball, glove and other stuff? If so they need to do the same here. | |

| I hate how they're acting like if they change this they'd have to go back and change all bad alls throughout MLB history, how about this call was the straw that broke the camels back and brought on a red flag or whatever for replay. | |

Right after the game the Tigers players werent respectful at all LOL. Cabrera, Gerald Laird, Inge and a couple others had to be held back from killing Joyce LOL. Leyland then proceeded to rip him a new ass for about a minute right on the field so there was difenitely some hostle shit going on out there. I do feel bad for Joyce today because i heard he is getting death threats and his wife and family have been threatened also. FANS NEED TO FUCKIN GROW UP!!! Im a huge Tigers fan and i would never ever think of threatening an umpire over a game especially in June.
