| The following is an exert from an interview conducted by Fedor’s official website:
Any plans to come to the UFC? Fedor: Not in the near future. First, I need to finish my contract with M-1 Global and Strikeforce (2 more fights to go). Then we’ll see.
I’m amazed by how you combine religion and don’t forget about God while being part of this hard sport. Fedor: There is no need to combine anything in orthodoxy. This is the way of life. I try to live according to the Commandments, go to church and pray. If you are religious there is no other way than to do that. There is no such question: to combine or not to combine. You always feel what you need to do and what not in order to retain God in your heart. As for the so-called Warrior Path, I represent my country; defend its honor on the international stage just like others do. There is no controversy with the religion. I got blessing from Patriarch Kirill.
Did you fight a lot on the streets or to protect the ones you love? Fedor: Thanks God, not. The last time I fought on the streets was way before the times of my military duty. There are not many altercations when I’m around.
Have you ever fought or beat up your brother? Fedor: No, never. I’m older than him. Before army he was a small kid but upon my return he was 15-16 years old, so we already had a lot to talk about and consequently train together.

| Fedor is a beast. It would be great if he came to the UFC after his contract with SF. I'll believe it when I see it. | |

| The longer Fedor waits, the more likely his UFC debut will turn into a disaster. |

| I don't ever expect to see Fedor in the UFC. We had our shot after Affliction folded and M-1 blew it. | |

Yeah I saw that. I was about to make the comment along the lines of Fedor still beating Lesnar or Carwin down the road since they aren't exactly young bucks themselves. But didn't make the comment because it would look like I was the one who negged you.

| I think Fedor getting old and slow and fighting in the UFC and losing a fight he would have otherwise won against Lesnar or Mir are literal nightmares that haunt my dreams. | |

I think Fedor will still rape them both 2 years from now.

KO in rd 2 actually, and the part that would make me question how Fedor would fare vs the big wrestlers was Grim actually faired very well on the matt. Fedor took it to grim standing.

| The moment I see Fedor grounded and pounded out will be the moment I start to worry about wrestlers. Until then I'll take Fedor everytime. | |

| After watching how a guy like Rogers looked on top of Fedor, despite no wrestling ability like say Brock for instance, that has me more worried than ever how they're potential fights would go down. | |
