| Im wondering what you guys think. I think it will do really well despite a lackluster under card. The media has been eating this war of words up like crazy. Dana is out there making the rounds and promoting this fight too. Plus they were on TUF and the prime time show.
Im going with about 700k to 800k in buys. | |

| 800K+ This is getting a lot of airplay, even on ESPN. I think the numbers could go even higher if they do the MMA Live replay during the afternoon tomorrow, like rumor has stated they might. | |

Boxing fans - it seems to me this fight out of any UFC fight ever has more cross-isle appeal to American urban boxing fans. Is that true? This fight could get a small carryover from a more boxing oriented audiance. I think the UFC should have waited and stuck Kimbo on this card as well.
If this fight goes and becomes the biggest non-title UFC ever I wouldn't be surprised. | |

| That's a really good point Wolf. Its kind of been glossed over how this is the first main event featuring two black fighters in the UFC. Given all the trash talk and publicity its gotten, you'd have to imagine the PPV sales will get a boost from the urban boxing crowd. I know a lot of people who know nothing about the UFC that are looking into getting this card just for the main event. The fact that the undercard isn't the greatest doesn't mean anything to boxing fans since they are used to paying $50 for one fight anyway | |
