BJ's lack of commitment and focus will keep him in third place on this list imo

BJ's lack of commitment and focus will keep him in third place on this list imo BJ's overall badassness keeps him at the top of mine.

BJ's overall badassness keeps him at the top of mine. lol, don't get me wrong i'm a huge BJ fan, but if he committed himself like for example GSP, how good could he really be?

Yeah I knew what you meant but BJ's very committed now days, I thing he didn't train as hard for Frankie even though I know he beat Frankie. If BJ could work as hard as he did for the Diego/Kenny fights he would murder everyone and that's why if we are saying in their prime BJ is on top of my list with these guys on it.

| Penn and Chuck are tied. One is the dominant grappler and the other the premier KO artist. Hughes while fantastic has not continued to expand his game. | |

| BJ Penn - one of the most naturally talented fighters to ever compete in MMA. A BJJ phenom, who still is one of the top LWs in terms of BJJ skills. A rare combination of amazing BJJ skills and Boxing, some consider him to be the best Boxer in all of MMA. Pair these two skills with very solid wrestling (almost impossible to takedown) and the flexiblity of a 13 year old gymnast. Competed successfully at LW where he is the greatest ever and WW, holding Titles in both weight classes.
Chuck Liddell - the most devastating LHW knockout artist in MMA history, some still consider him the best LHW ever, but a new crop of talented LHWs are nipping at his heals. He also was a very solid wrestler, but used to more to avoid the takedown then get the takedown, every bit as hard to get down as BJ Penn, they might be 1-2 in terms of difficulty to get and keep down. Chuck while very talanted I always felt could have expanding his game even more though. I hope Chuck has one last run left in him.
Matt Hughes - one of the most impressive runs in a division in MMA history. A freak of nature in terms of natural strength and wrestling ability. An excellent GnP fighter, one of the best ever, who also seemed to have natural JJ skills which played off his wrestling ability. Much like Chuck though, Matt never expanded his entire game where I could put him about BJ or Chuck on a P4P list. He's still a top 10 WW who may have more left in the tank then people think.
