| It's going to be part of the Integrated Sports PPV that will also have Vazquez Jr.-Bedak and Martinez-Muniga from Puerto Rico.
Klitschko by mass destruction.

dmar, Vitali should clown the much smaller Polish fighter (Sosnowski) and take him out in 6 or 7 rounds. I know a lot of American boxing fans don't like the Klitschko brothers, but most of their fights are entertaining enough for me. Vitali for example has a 92% KO ratio, how boring can that be.

My problem is that they're fighting in an era that makes the early/mid 80's look like the glory days of the 70's. Therefore, watching them fight is pretty much a waste of time for me. If you enjoy it, that's cool. I don't. Guys like Sosnowski wouldn't have been ESPN material in the 90's. It's so incredibly pathetic today.

| Should be a gimmie for Vitali. To be fair on Dr Iron Fist, they tried very hard to make a Valuev fight happen, but Don King stuck his nose in demanding more money.
I might try and find a stream for this
At Bayamon, Puerto Rico (Integrated Sports PPV): Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. vs. Zolt Bedak, 12 rounds, for Vazquez's WBO junior featherweight title; Roman Martinez vs. Gonzalo Mungia, 12 rounds, for Martinez's WBO junior lightweight title. |

I'll try to get both streams, Vitali's fight comes on at 3:00 PM EST here in the States, an afternoon fight Saturday.

| Hate to admit it, but I'll be watching. Another easy win for Vitali. HW division is a nightmare. | |

I don't think the HW division is as bad as everyone says it is, remember the "Chris Byrd" era? The main problem seems to be there isn't an American HW champion, but personally I could care less, these days over 50% of my favorite fighters are from other countries. P.S. If the Klitschko bros were from the U.S. everyone would be saying they were the GOAT.

Not trying to argue with you Krazy, but, is the division in the toilet bowl, or are the K-bros just way better then everyone else? I think it's a little of both.

The difference is instead of Tyson and Holyfield, we have Wlad and Vitali. I've been hearing about how bad the heavyweight division is for 25 years now.

I remember for a while when Sam Peter was thought to be the next big thing at HW, or the next Ike Ibeabuchi, that was of course until Vitali whipped him like a redheaded stepchild and made him quit in his corner. I thought that was an amazing display of dominance, Peter is a big HW, and Vitali just toyed with him, you've gotta give the K-Bros some credit, yes they can be a bit boring, but they aren't as bad as some seem to think.

| Granted, Wladamir and Vitali are not the problems in the HW division and I didn't mean to suggest they were. Their competition (which I realize is no fault of theirs.) is horrible. The one guy who seems to be talented enough to fight them (David Haye) has punked out. As far as the Klits are concerned, I've been watching them from the very beginning and I've always been impressed with their skill, guts and most of all, their work ethic. Wladmir having the maturity to listen and get better is amazing in this world of boxers who refuse to change for the better. Make no mistake about it. My hat is off to the Klits. I just wish they had better competition than "Eddie Chambers." | |

| It's just another reason why I don't get involved in these discussions of era vs era. People tend to get nostalgic for the past and sometimes romanticize things a bit. Most of the guys Tyson was knocking out pre1990 were nothing special, Holyfield's first championship reign was pathetic.
Looking back is occasionally fun, but I prefer to discuss the here and now. The difference between the Ring Heavyweight Rankings 20 years ago compared to now is that there were more American names who had been featured at some point on US network TV then. Therefore Americans tend to look back at those names more favorably.

| Orlin Norris, Francesco Damiani, Gary Mason, Carl Williams - these are top 10 guys from 1990. | |

That's fine. But all the guys I listed are actually getting title shots, they just aren't top-10 guys. Truth Williams got a title shot vs Tyson when he was still useful. Damiani was scheduled to get a shot but never did. Norris was a former cruiserweight champion. Mason never got anything. What exactly has this current crop of victims accomplish to get title shots? The were simply the tallest midgets at the circus, IMO.

Holyfield,Bowe, Foreman, Lennox Lewis, Tyson, Moorer, c'mon guys. Let's not get carried away. Hopfully, the Klits will run into a fighter that captures the imagination of the whole world and one of them will do well against him. Both brothers would've fit well in the 90,s division and would have competed well against the competition there. But, let's not get the 90s confused with the 21st century. Look, I like those big boys from Russia. They're good for boxing. All I'm saying is, I wish they had better fighters to fight. I'm sure they do too. Roy Jones had the same problem in the LH division (Except for one guy, who's name I won't mention, whom he apparently ducked.).

| Moorer was nothing special. Foreman was in his 40's. You had Tyson (when he wasn't in jail) who was already in decline, Bowe, Holyfield, and Lewis. I watched it all unfold and enjoyed it, and all the while listened to people talk about how all the fighters sucked and how bad the division was compared to the ' good old days'. Now people are saying the same thing but are holding up the 90's as being superior. | |

All I'm saying is, I wish they had better fighters to fight. I'm sure they do too. I wish they did too. But are all the guys they've faced total bums (as everyone says) or are the Klitschkos dominant for their time ? That is all I'm saying. Some of the guys they've knocked out may have gone on to become dominant champions if they hadn't had to face a Klitschko and would be thought of as good heavyweights. I went thru this same debate countless times during Lewis's time. Everyone in America hated Lewis and called him overrated until after he retired.
