| obviously UFC does not co-promote, and the Bellator champ I would assume has a continuing contract, thus is it fair to say that any reigning champ, say Alverez, or possibly Huerta or Hornbuckle, will not be seen in the UFC? | |

| Only UFC will be seen in the UFC forever. The scenario where Dana feels the need to send out one of his best to fight another best or welcome them to fight the event at a UFC show though would be a great day. That scenario currently exists but, it cannot be allowed to happen. | |

| well my thought is that there is a bunch of good looking prospects, as well as established high level fighters in Bellator, and once the season is over I expect that there will be competition by the full season promotions to retain the services of these fighters. But the current UFC policy excludes them from signing the best of them. | |

| There is no reasoning for the UFC to Co-Pro with Bellator, if anything they should buy Bellator. | |

| Well Joey Beltran and Jacob Vokelman are UFC now and Nick Ring is TUF so they do pick some. Other Guys like Ellenberger who weren't in the Tourney are there now too. | |

well I mean co-promote in a loose sense. More like allow their fighters to compete in a tourney like bellator.

| Dana played the game with Chuck, and lost badly at the hands of what was then a second-fiddle Pride fighter, if you remember, good men. That loss was the single worst blow a competitor ever delt to the UFC's credibility. I ain't mad at ya, UFC, for not co-promoting one bit.
Bellator will end up losing their champions to new contracts with the UFC and probably Strikeforce too, the same way the UFC used to lose champions like Penn, Pulver, and Bustamante and how Strikeforce just lost Jake Shields. I hope Bellator works with Strikeforce so the two don't cannibalize eachother, but I wonder if there is enough room for the both of them.
How are Bellator/Strikeforce relations? Bellator/UFC relations? What does Dana say about Bellator?

| but I'm not suggesting the UFC send high level guys to a relatively low level tourney, but as is they are limited in terms of being able to draw from the bellator talent pool, assuming of coarse that the bellator contract stipulates that the reigning champ must return the following season.
I don't even see a major plus for the UFC to send some of their lower level guys to bellator. Though I do see it as a very smart strategy for sf to send some of their guys there.
I do think that this season of bellator has a bunch of good fighters who are getting alot of TV time. I see both of the big orgs going after these guys once the season ends.
I also think Bellator can very much survive if they exist strictly as a tournament org.

| I'd like to see the UFC buy Bellator and keep it as is, with winners entering the UFC and guys lower in the UFC or working their wayup competing in the tourney's. | |

| Interestingly, Bigs did a poll on our Fantasy Baseball league page, filled with all knowledgeable posters, and it was asking best Org outside the UFC, Bellator is winning, I voted SF but it was close. | |

| I would honestly go the pussy route and put SF and Bellaor at 2 together
If I wasnt allowed to do that I would go
1. UFC 2. SF 3. Bellator 4. WEC 4. Dream

thats just crazy. I mean I love the tournament format, and they have some very promising fighters, but sf has way more high level talent, much better tv contract, and Bellator as of now, only puts on shows part of the year. Not very close imo.

| SF should team up with Bellator and bring the top guys from each tourney every year and add them to SF shows. I could see them both putting a dent in the Zuffa stronghold on MMA if they play the game right. | |
