| Top 15? Top 10? Top 5? In the holy trinity of MMA?
I think he's in the top 5/borderline top 5 right now so there isn't a lot of room to move up in my mind. I also don't know whats next for him. Anyone want to see Brown vs Aldo II? Manny vs Aldo? I personally want to see Grispi fight Aldo after some more seasoning. Maybe Edgar will move down if he loses to Penn or Griffin if he can't ever get a title shot.

| I think if he dominates Faber, he will be the best FW on the planet! Seriously, he will be #6-7 for me. | |

| I think whoever wins this(provided it's in dominant fashion) is top 5, if Aldo does it he's top 3. | |

| He'd easily be the best FW ever at that point, but as far as P4P, I can't put him above Fedor, Anderson, GSP, Machida(if he beats Shogun) or BJ(when he beats Frankie) | |

| It would be Fedor, GSP, Anderson, then Aldo. Above BJ simply because he lost his last fight against a big underdog. Aldo is facing Faber, who is a much better opponent than Edgar was to Penn, in my opinion. | |

| Here's my case one why I'd have trouble putting him soo high even though I've been with the guy forever
The FW division isn't as talented as the other divisions
Frankie could drop down and beat Faber by the way

Frankie could drop down and beat Faber by the way Bingo. That is the reason I cannot put him in the top 4 at this point. I want Frank or Griffin to move down or Aldo to move up and fight some of the smaller LWs.

| Frank could for sure, Griffin might have packed too much muscle on now.
When the WEC and UFC merge, superfights with Aldo will hopefully happen

Frankie could drop down and beat Faber by the way that's debatable. Before the BJ fight, I don't think most would have said that, although I will say that BJ didn't look like himself that fight, but regardless, he should have won, so if Aldo wins, he jumps ahead of BJ, based off of wins over Mike Brown, and Faber...historically the 2 best in that division.

| I would have, there's a difference between divisions, as Griffin finished Faber in a LW bout | |

| 5 at the highest, for now anyways. The dudes I would put above him have been doing this for longer, against better opponents in deeper divisions in my opinion. Faber is one more step, his 2nd really after MTB. | |

| Dominations of Faber and Brown back to back and Aldo will make a case for the top spot with many. In any climate walking through the two top pound for pounders, one already a bona fide MMA legend, in their primes in any division would make that kind of noise. But this is especially true now considering the fan out there who doesn't like Fedor as number 1, for not fighting in the UFC or for whatever, is still upset that Machida got the decision over Shogun, is pissed off at Anderson for his last fight, confused by the BJ Penn fight, and frustrated with GSP's lack of ability to finish. Not everyone would rank him 1, or even top 3, but many others would.
If he crushes Faber with a bad knockout or beats him in a one sided beat down, Aldo becomes the man of the moment. He would have the two best recent wins and the two most dominat recent wins.
Personally I'd rank him no lower than 5, but likely top 3+.
