Horrible, fucking horrible giving Jacare Villasenor

Jacare with ease

Now, Jacare is the clear favorite in my book but he has not really done anything to be above a fight with Villasenor.

Villasenor is riding a 4 fight winning streak against pretty fair competition himself...i'd say this is a right matchup to make right now because they are both in the same part of the trail, only Jacare has far more upside....i just wish Lawler would stop ducking Jacare.

Jacare should win sometime in the first though.

Strikeforce tried to get Lawler/Jacare on Fedor/Rogers and it didnt happen. No one know why, probably because they wanted the other bouts on it...but then the bout was to be set for Strikeforce: Evolution and Robbie Lawler declined to fight Souza...and Nick Diaz as well. He ended up being booked to fight Trevor Prangley on 2 weeks notice and he and Hughes got all sorts of pissed off at Strikeforce because Prangley dropped out a couple days before and they could not find a suitable opponent on time for Lawler to squash. Hard to feel bad for him when the guy Strikeforce tried to get him to fight showed up to the card and dominated Matt Lindland.

I say when you decline to fight somebody, that is a duck...especially when you end up accepting a fight with somebody that is not as good as they guy you declined. That is a duck. I also take into consideration that now would be a good time for Lawler and Jacare to fight as well...yet, here is Jacare fighting Villasenor and Lawler is going to fight Mayhem...so i'm going to assume the ducking continues.

Joey Villasenor vs Jacare is pretty damn good fight. As if he is on some level significantly different than Ed Herman, Jason Macdonald, Ryan Jensen or Nate Quarry, all guys Maia fought in the last couple years. As if this couldn't just as easily be a UFC fight.

LA you have poisoned the well in your own mind with Strikeforce's matchmaking and fighters and it colors your thinking. You look at every fight with suspicion and the preconcieved notion Strikeforce is out to make shitty uncompelling fights. All 100% fiction. Strikeforce all things considers does literally as good as they can.

Jacare deserves better
