| Well yeah, by default. Even if he lost the decision he did win some rounds. That's more than you can say about the rest of the division.
Penn better get an immediate rematch but i have not heard any word from Dana White about that. He seemed to be way more quick to crown Shogun the real king of LHW but no word on him even questioning a fairly weak decision.

Or he may know that Penn is moving up and this was his last fight at the weight regardless of the outcome. But I'd bet it was the Silva thing.

I think Penn needs to anyway also he needs to be challenged. Also I like Frankie he is a down to earth person and a well rounded fighter. I hope he can hold on to the belt. If Bj fights him again though it may turn ugly.

| Penn moving up would be retarded now, even though he really won, he lost, going up wouldn't make asmuch sense now.
Immediate rematch or bust

| This card was just a nightmare for Dana. With the possibility of BJ being a TUF coach gone and 2 of his champs not looking impressive in a attempt to expand your brand in a new section of the world. I expect to see a more aggressive dana white which is good for the fans. | |

| I don't think it was a bad decision and I don't think most people will. It was a close fight but I thought they got it right. | |

If you think it was "clear cut" then I'm sorry you are being biased. At the very least you have to understand it was close to call. I felt it was the right call and I'm sure plenty other do as well. Nothing "clear cut" about it.

I'm not a GSP fan, not a BJ fan, not even a Frankie fan. Didn't have a dog in the fight, just telling you what I saw.

| I'm a big BJ fan, but I was scared at the end of the fight because I wasn't sure who had won. When they announced Edgar as the new champ, it didn't even surprise me. It was just too close. I don't think either one won, which means that, by default, BJ stays the champ. And, would you guys really want to see a rematch? I think it would be the same crappy fight. As for the Anderson fight, I hate it when Anderson talks about respect for the sport and all that crap, and then he disrespects it by doing the stupid shit that he did today. I never thought I'd be saying this, but I was much more impressed by Mr. Hughes. Shit! Even Munoz did better than everyone else, and he was losing the damn fight. Terrible card all together and I don't think anyone expected it to be so. | |

Give him a tougher opponent and watch
He claims to be a true champ! Perform like one. He expects his opponents to do what he wants. Only Forrest was dumb enough to do that. Yet it was like a sparring match for Anderson, he never gets challeged, he could have finished that anytime, he probably gets bored in those fights. I think its obvious now the classic he could finished the fight at anytime comment regrading Anderson is bullshit. The only reason he finished fights in the past was because fighters came right at him(Dan, Rich, Forrest, Nate) if you don't engage Anderson or pick your shots with him he won't finish anything. Also I disagree with Anderson not being challegned in this fight. Anderson gassing after the third round and Maia winning the last two round is good indication of this.

| Anderson was just going through the motions IMO
And he actually could finish fights, but he doesn't push forward and engage, I think he's more cautious then he needs to be sometimes.
