yeah bird remeber when you went to a fight and it was only Full contact fighter gear? LOL then tapout came out and You had a few douches start in, but not much. I remember asking a guy in the mall with a tapout shirt where he trained(cause it was that uncommon to see fight gear) he gave me the uhhhhhhh I. Now its everywhere. Take the good and the bad. We have better fights fighters organizations and media coverage but deal with the equivelent of a football fan saying" go go go run endzone tackle tackle stop him"

Franklin McNeil...........can't this guy just go away?

This is awesome news. I have to agree that they need to replace Franklin and do it before the show airs. They should have Anik, Florian, and a guest announcer each week. Franklin could actually kill the show if you compare it to him, over the guest host each week. Think about it...

He is like Emmanual Steward or Teddy Atlas in boxing, except he doesn't train champion fighters.

Franklin McNeal is a converted boxing writer, so having him actually helps with people familar with boxing ready to give MMA a fair shake.

Nuts how much progress MMA has made in such little time, no lie it took the NFL (which is a monopoly just as UFC is) until the 1970 with RULE CHANGES to appeal to fans.

MMA has been around in United States since 1993, 17 years, and its never gotten more coverage or appeal.

Manny is the best commentator on HBO when he is there IMO

I wish Inside MMA was doing this instead. That is the best show. But at least it is another step forward. More mainstream. I heard about Thiago Alves this morning on the radio while I was driving to work. It was on the news update on the Dan Patrick show,,, I was surprised to hear it there. The girl doing the report kept calling him Pitbull Alves, never said his first name once, but it was pretty mainstream delivery of MMA news still.

About time.
