And not an identical beginning and presentation to all the other UFC shows the promotion holds.

VS didnt partner up with Zuffa to try and redo UFC

That is why you shouldn't cut weight and take a fight when you can't do it. I think if they would have fought at a CW Sakara would have won anyways. Irvin is done in the UFC.

The production of the UFC is getting stale if you ask me, but even if that stays, a slightly different feel for different networks might keep it fresh. Not every NFL or MLB broadcast is the same, and I think the brands are overall better for it.

I think a deviation would just complicate business presentation in a way Zuffa and UFC wouldn't want to bother with.

What would of been real nice for this card would of been if there was more than 3 minutes of fighting in the first 41 minutes of the broadcast.

It seemed like every fight had a foul or something, and many of the finishes were anti-climactic. However JDS and Jones continued their reigns of terror with good finishes so overall the card wasn't bad.

Irvin was eating some fist and took a good shot but not a finisher if it missed the eye. Paul/Kongo was pretty garbage. Kongo couldn't KO him with power fists standing or knees to the face on the ground but got the out muscle wear down sub of shame. But, they got three real nice stoppages in their two hour slot so that is a success in a way.

I was thinking the same thing as I was watching this fight. Kongo is either a dumbfuck or he doesn't understand the rules. I'm guessing it's the former.

Kongo robbed us of a helluva slugfest by shooting for a takedown everytime the headhunter backed into the cage. It was a good gameplan but I wish he would've banged with Paul.
