Torres vs. Benavidez:

How do you see this fight going down. Reason I'm asking is because I was just thinking about this fight, and I'm kind of swaying towards picking Benavidez. It's gonna be a real exciting fight, both guys are very active, but I think Benavidez could push the pace enough to win a decision here. Torres does lose rds, but maybe Torres's reach will be too much, IDK.

I'm picking Torres.

Looking at the matchup, i see no reason to pick Benavidez...Torres is better just about everywhere the fight goes. Benavidez has great cardio and wants to get on top of you...Miguel Torres wants you on top of him and Joseph does not really bring the same threat that Bowles did...which is solid standup and the ability to hit like a mack truck.

not saying he can't win but Torres is the smart pick here. Regardless should be an exciting fight and we are likely to hear Frank Mir have an orgasm watching two of his three favorite fighters go at it.

I think Benavidez might beat Torres in a rematch, but not the first time around. I think Torres will be an animal in the early rounds and he has the cardio to keep up a great pace for 3 rounds. I think coming off that loss will have Torres on fire early in this fight. I think it will be tough. I think Torres wins 30-27.

I think Cruz has a better chance of beating Bowles then Benavidez beating Torres. We may have seen Torres' weakness and that is a good boxer with power. That is not what Benavidez is.

I'd say Cruz is better than Torres though.

Benavidez will make this a close fight, I think it could go either way.

Cruz seems like he is decent anywhere the fight goes but not great anywhere. He has impressed me as of late. I just don't like this match up for benavidez. I can see him falling into a sub.

I do think Benavidez will make this a tough fight but I gotta go with Torres

Torres is coming off a horrible loss and was made to look weak. He wants to show the power and the pop is still there. Torres, 2nd round sub.

Joe is fast, athletic and explosive, with KO power as he demonstrated in his last fight, yet he is physically mismatched and will suffer huge reach and standup technique disadvantages that will lead to his downfall.

I don't think he will be able to impose a wrestler gameplan on Torres, and I think Torres eventually catches him and finishes him standing.

Torres will bust Benavidez up. stiff jabs, and counter punches to the face of a reaching benavidez. KO or Possible doctor stoppage.

Oh lets not go that far, he's still young and shit, but he's not as good as thought, and there's more and more guys coming up as good or better. He might get to another Title fight down the line, but I don't see him ever being Champ again.

I am afraid his champ days are LONG gone. I was a fan of his balls to the walls style but now he is just scared.

I guess he doesn't seem like himself when he actually faces good 135lbs. Torres wrestling has always been dreadful and in my opinion this fight was more than easy to pick.
