I remember when Tito piulled his gay mezger bullshit and Ken started tearing into him. People can say whatever they want but Tito didnt want none of Ken at that time, he immediately got defensive and started trying to blame Guy, go rewatch you can see him with his "what did I do" look on his face while ken was chewing him out, Big John came and just picked Tito up and took him away.

The clip as shown is classic though. I think Tito pushed Kens mental stability to a dangerous place during their years together in UFC and TUF. Wasn't Ken's role in WWF to be some crazy fucker who would scream and seizure, not letting people out of subs? The part came naturally to him. I remember in Reno about 5 years ago I was at the Peppermill with some family playing poker. Ken was there and my uncle was teasing him. He was like "watch this" and he goes kinda loud from a few tables away, "Who's this Ken shamrock punk?". Ken stood up and was all jumping in circles and "Who said that!? Who said that!?, Arrrahghghgar!!!!!" Funniest shit I've ever seen.

It was all an act, all that stuff in WWF/WWE is predetermined, your character, what role you will play (heel or good guy), what titles you will win, big PPV event wins all that pre determined
Ken simply hated Tito cause he was a little punk fucker who showed no respect. Thats all that was IMO, he wanted to smash Tito for years and sadly waited to long to get at Tito IMO. I wish Pete Williams and Tito had a Openweight fight after Mezger fight
Would Ken have loved to Don Frye Titos ankles ? Hell ya, but in the Lions Den Guy Mezger was the one that would break your ligaments and bones without feeling sorry for you.

Funny thing was I knew Ken during his Pancrase and UFC days and none of my friends cared
Ken goes to WWF and becomes Worlds Most Dangerous Man and I am getting hit up like mad to take people to see Ken whenever he was in town

Yo why the fuck wouldn't you want KEN SHAMROCK in a UFC game?
But that said, Tito would have trashed any Ken Shamrock that ever fought. Sorry Kenny boi.

Yeah Tito would destroy any Ken imo. He is just on another level than Ken was. I respect Ken for being an OG, but there are many fighters in the UFC now that would beat a prime Shamrock.

gotta completely disagree, people say Ken never evolved, sad thing is 1 of his most dominant fights was his last before the hiatus. He destroyed Brian Johnson. I really think that was Kens prime (95-97) , and it ended right then. He could have still been beating Colemans, Maurice Smiths (he already had) and other fighters of that era IMO.
Verse Tito at UFC 40 Ken was past his prime, Tito says he dished out more punishment on Ken than any other fighter he's ever fought. And he couldnt knock Ken out. People forget as obvious as Tito won all those fights in the first one Ken had some brief moments. Reversals, knockdowns, stuff that made me say, Guy Mezger sprawled Tito into a guillotine. Ken could have, a couple of times Ken came real close to sprawling Tito, a prime Ken could have IMO and could have taken Tito down.
Thats the thing people dont realize, the old Ken Shamrock took people down, once he blew his knees out his shots were never the same.

Guy Mezger did that to a 17 year old Ortiz.

For the same reason nobody wanted Coleman, Tank, Ron Van Cleef, Steve Jennum, Dan Severn, anyone else from the lions den, Pat Milletich, or Jeremy Horn. Unless you include all kinds of former UFC fighters in the mix it makes no sense to have an outdated one(yeah, Ken's outdated now since he'll probably never get cleared to fight in America again after his impersonation of Josh Barnett went off without a hitch).
If they include Ken it will likely be a "legends of UFC" style release alot like wrestling had a bunch of years ago. Don't get me wrong, that kind of thing would be a great idea. But including Ken Shamrock on a game full of current fighters who could likely destroy him when he's not juicing up like a Capri Sun commercial.

Yeah Shamrock was simply outclassed by Ortiz. His knee's having blown out had nothing to do with Ortiz using double underhooks to lift and transport Ken across almost the entire cage before putting him on the mat and elbow-processing his facial region.
Flat out, Ortiz had his number every time. I don't think time off had much to do with that. He was still in shape by the time he fought Tito the first time, fresh off a win to Frye in Pride some 8 months earlier but he was still Ken Shamrock at the time. If you don't believe me look at what happened to Kimo in the next fight Shamrock had. Tito was just the better fighter.

How old was Ken? In the first fight Ken was coming close to sprawling Tito numerous times
By the rematch Ken was completely gone from his former self.

DOnt compare Kimo to Tito
I knew Ken leading up to the Kimo fight, no bullshit Ken was talking about how easy the fight was on paper. Kimo was perfect amtch up for Ken.
Ken would have smashed the Tito from UFC 13- 20 area and Tito even knew it. The Tito Frank beat gets beat by prime Ken and I think a prime Ken has a good shot at beating a prime Ortiz.
Its all about when you fight and Ken was damn near 40 when he got his first crack at Tito

Maybe Ken could have beaten young Tito, but prime Tito would still dominate Prime Ken.
