| Shit... I'm old, have almost 40 years experience with a 0-0 record, I have a broken neck and a torn rotator cuff... I'll take the fight for 800K!!!
My point is anyone could ask to fight the guy for that kind of jack. You have to earn your place and have a reputation that gives you the right to ask for that... KOing a guy with a glass chin after beating a list of cans isn't a resume that warrants those demands.

| Pay him market value for his services. 800K is a reasonable purse for fighting Fedor. | |

| NO... You don't get paid on the value of your opponent... You get paid on your value. Joe Shmoe doesn't get a million dollars if he faces John Keker in a courtroom. Keker might demand that, but Shmoe packing only 10 wins might only earn 75K, win or lose...
Now when Rogers is a former champion in a legitimate org., he might be able to demand that. But Attencio is going to laugh it off and grab Werdum or Vitor for 10%...

| he just annihilated Andrei Arlovski. Blah blah, glass chin blah blah. He was a highly ranked opponent, Rogers is now a top ten fighter.
Pay the man. | |

| You're right Wolfy... And when the guy comes knocking on the door and asks your boss to pay him what you're making even though he has 1/3 the experience and has only one noteworthy mark on his resume, compared to your near flawless resume, you should just step aside and say welcome... Even though there are others applying that have better resume's asking for a lot less money. I'm sure you would agree with a smile and move forward, right? | |

Fedor isn't making 800K for the fight. That is what timmy made. Facts my man. They can be friends. Anyway, if my boss needed a quality employee asap for a must-do job with 11 days notice that my company hinged on, and he payed other similarly ranked employees a salary that this young, impressive, yet somewhat untested upstart with a ton of potential said he would only work for, I am sure he'd pay it. Rogers is top ten. Rogers isn't a bum off the streets. LTFG, no offense man but I gotta ask you to stop commenting on non-ufc fighters. Lacking a bit in the ol knowledge dept.

LTFG, no offense man but I gotta ask you to stop commenting on non-ufc fighters. Lacking a bit in the ol knowledge dept. You're completely missing the point... There are other guys out there with better resume's willing to step in for less money... NO Employer in their right mind hires the relatively unproven for more money. Coming from an employer of over 20 years my friend!!! And no sweat on the comment... We're used to you not knowing dick. As if our discussion on this has anything to do with UFC v. non-UFC matters. This is a common sense subject, and that's why you fail here. Edited due to someone being immature and playing kiddie games with the post...

| I don't think that is a ridiculous amount...plenty, but not ridiculous. The other thing I'm wondering is if that is all he will get or if it will be like most UFC guys and that's only a small percentage of the final bill. Plus, he knows damn well that this is a back breaker for the business...nothing wrong with being a good business man! | |

| I wonder what the deciding factor is with Rogers, is it money? Is it the short notice? Or Does he just feel he isn't ready for Fedor yet? | |
