| I can see it. Brett is a pure bomber, he's no technician. I can certainly see him wanting to go out their and fight his fight, not out thinking himself, let his natural ability, his instincts, carry him.
But Im sure his trainer's have watched a few of Fedor's fight's.

| I believe him. His gameplan will be simple. Keep it standing. He won't need to watch Fedor destroy the best HW division ever to map out a gameplan that gives him the best chance to win. It's best that he does not watch those fights and beat himself before he even gets to the cage. | |

| If he does to Fedor what he did to AA, which is just start throwing bombs until he is knocked out, assuming he connects, he has a very slight chance. But no not really. I am rooting for him, but I don't think he can do it. And Kings, the best HW division EVER is currently in the UFC. | |

| Well I can tell ya this, Fedor is watching Brett's fights and its easier neutralizing a fighter like Rogers than a fighter like Fedor. This move is stupid. Most of Fedor's wins have been by sub and there wasn't a sub in the AA fight and there wasn't any Sambo throws or takedowns. Brett needs to gameplan against that kind of stuff. | |

| Absolutely. But like an earlier poster commented, I'm sure his camp is watching and studying each fight. I think Fedor will have a lot of trouble taking Brett down, like he did with AA. He's big and strong, but nimble. Fedor will have to trade punches to set something up. | |

Did Fedor try to take Arlovski down? I know they clinched a little, but I can't remember an actual trip or throw attempted.

| I'm buying Rodgers timbering down pretty quickly and easily via trip then getting barred. I'm buying it would be alot easier to take down Rodgers then AA for anyone. | |

| He very well might. He's more explosive than Rogers, but standing with him is like playing with firer. You very well might get burned. I hope Fedor plays it say gets the takedown and shows everyone that Rogers has no ground game so his hype can just go away. | |

| Kings did I read that wrong or do u believe that the Strikeforce HW division is the best ever? if so, they could use you back on the ESPN board. Pride hands down was the best ever. | |

You read it wrong. I said it would not do Rogers any good wathcing Fedor tear through the best HW division ever,i could not have possibly meant Strikeforce because obviously there is no videos of Fedor fighting in Strikeforce, i meant Pride. So we are in agreement.

| Brett is a really good athlete. He has nimble feet for a big man and will be tough to takedown. Fedor clinched with AA in the hopes of securing a leg. You could see him try for the takedown, but AA's athleticism allowed him to avoid it. Fedor has never had trouble taking down big guys [his brother is 6'6" 250 lbs.+], but athletic guys pose a problem. | |

I have to believe no. It's pretty safe to asume Fedor has a big adv on the ground, while it is not outlandish to say Rogers has very legit shot at KO'ing fedor if the fight stays sanding. Im sure Fedor and his camp would agree with those statement.

| LA, while I agree Pride's HW division was very exciting, I would have to say the UFC's HW division is most probably the best. You can knock Brock all you want (and I will smile while you do it) but he has proven himself to be more than the bashers anticipated. They still have Mir, Nog, Couture, Carwin, Cain, Dos Santos, Gonzaga and a slew of good young fighters. Pride had some of the greats no doubt, but I don't think it was nearly as stacked or as dangerous. | |

| I don't know, that foursome of Fedor, Nog, Crocop and Barnett was scary. Add Aleks, Hunt, Werdum, Herring and Kharitonov as up and comers, and that was probably the best division ever. | |

| Pride FC HW division 01-06 > UFC HW division 07-09. UFC's HW division is arguably as good and close to Pride FC's HW division as it has ever been. I still think there are a lot of fortunate HW's in UFC right now who will never contend. Pride FC was deep with contenders at HW in it's prime. | |

| I say Brock, Nog, JDS, Carwin, Cain, Mir, Couture, Gonzaga, Herring, Rothwell, Nelson, & Cro Cop is about on par with Fedor, Nog, Cro Cop, Barnett, Herring, Aleks, Fujita, Hunt, Randleman and Goodridge in 2005. | |
