UFC and Kerasotes Sign Theatre Agreement

The Kerasotes Showplace Theatres chain is now advertising UFC 111 in the “Coming Soon” segment of its website, signalling the beginning of a four-fight agreement with the UFC to show fights across its many theatres in the US.



The success of Mayweather-Marquez in theatres last September was enough impetus for the UFC to jump into theatre distribution arena. This four-fight agreement – should things go well – is likely the precursor for a longer, more extensive agreement down the road.

If I’m not mistaken, tickets for the Mayweather fight went for around $15; expect the same for UFC events, especially considering its the same company providing the content to Kerasotes (NCM Fathom).

Anyway to make more money and that is the name of the game!

Skeptical of this. None of the movies around me serve brew. House atmosphere can get chaotic enough on fight night, add a bunch more dudes and the best fights might not be on the screen. They should make a couple of bucks though.

so whats the ticket. no way I am paying 45 a pop when I can get some people over and chip in tho it would be bad ass on a huge screen. plus gotta have some cold ones.
