Not that anyone's word really counts for anything at this point, but Herschel was on Stern a few weeks ago promoting his fight and the subject of steroids came up and he said he never used anything and was hugely in favor of banning anyone that does for life whether its football, baseball, etc.

Not buying it. Don't think there was a trainer in the NFL in the late 80s that wasn't using the stuff on running backs.

This stuff wasn't athlete only, a lot of this happened on an organizational level.

You act like steroids were personal choices made by the athlete in his garage. The stuff was forced down their throats by trainers and coaches since they were in highschool. Terry Bradshaw admitted how popular they were even in the 70s and had to immediately back track off what he said. Everyone knows the NFL ignores how bad steroids were/are.

Some people actually believe some polititians aren't all corrupt liars, some people believe radio bands actually write and like exactly what they play without the assistance of focus groups and record exes, and that some moral star athletes shielded themselves in a magic bubble from steroids while the entire rest of the world was using them.

I'm not one of those people. But whatever kid, you can keep your heros. God exists, Martian Luther King Jr was never taped by the FBI beating a hooker in a hotel, Walker is a boyscout and never once at any point did he ever take anything that might be considered a steroid, and Barry Bonds, Jose Canseco and Satan are all evil.

Walker tries to portray this image like he never broke a law in his life or sinned but you have to remember steroids were legal then and encouraged. Of course he did them.
