Which Division I Wrestling Champion will have best MMA career?

This was a poll on mmajunkie, but it also included Brock (50% of the vote) and Kos whom did and would get the majority of the votes, so I'm taking them out to make it more interesting.

Ya I voted Koscheck on that but figured Brock would run away with it.

Ya I could see Brock winning that poll fair and square.

You can't have it both ways bro, you can't knock Brock for beating Randy as an old man, then praise Randy in his fights after that, which u did do.

I can't praise him for over achieving and doing what no other ancient fool could do? His age and success at it is an amazing feat. Doesn't mean he is a real test for a guy 50 pounds heavier or is elite. Be real dude. Come on.

Damn this is a good question. I really don't know who to pick. Maybe a small lean to Hendricks

Wolf LA is right on this 1. When he wins u say he achieving things other people his age cant do but when brock whips his ass all the sudden he is too old? U come on! Brock would have done that to Randy 5 years ago also. He was way to big for randy at any stage of his career.

Well this thread was made like a year and half ago.

Askren has been doing great and is very active from the top. Seen none of his bouts since he beat Hornbuckle but he does not lay and pray.

I think I voted Hendricks or Askren, but I can't remember.

At this point I think I'd vote Askren.

I'll go Davis. Even though i don't think he's very good. He atleast is working the full game.

Not really at this point.

Davis is trying, but his striking his awful and he's pretty much just a wrestler like Askren with a much worse successful takedown to failed takedown ratio going by his fights...yes, i'll note that Davis has fought better fighters at 205 than Askren has fought at 205 but outside of Nog..it's not that much of a gap.

Askren so far has been a for sure takedown and a for sure stay down. The thing about Askren is i think he thinks his wrestling alone will continue to keep him undefeated. If he stays in Bellator, maybe...but he'll eventually learn that there is more to it than just being a great wrestler. Atleast Davis knew from the jump that he needs develop his full game, so even in fights against one dimensional strikers..he was trying to work the full game.

Davis has had pretty good striking for a LHW wrestler this new to it. I got no worries about his future. He was held back by training with Lloyd Iphone

Askren just started training full time. He's been winning with wrestling and not much else. His striking should improve leeps and bounds with Roufus. Plus his wrestling >>> the others wrestling. The dude has a chance to really be special.

Askren is in a sucky division where only a few guys can strike. Davis isn't.

Think I voted for Askren then, staying with him now.
