Dumbass should have done this a long time ago, people loved Big Mac they would have forgave him quickly. After all that lying it will take a little longer.

Too late for the HOF? If he had admitted it in the day, many would have forgiven by the time he was eligible. They might make him wait until his last year of eligibility for his punishment...

Well here is something interesting I heard today. They are talking about Big Mac possibly being added to the Cards roster if they are in the playoff hunt(prob will be). If that happens it would take Big Mac off the ballet for another 5 years and also start his 12 year window over. It certianly doesn't hurt his HOF chances which were almost zero. Besides the time extension it also gives people time to determine how they feel about "steroid era" players.

He's their batting coach now I believe, but that's interesting Sooners, he'll prob get in one day, but with asterisk.

Yeah I read last week that Big Mac could very likely be added to the active roster in Aug. if they are in contention. It really seems like they are just reseting the clock on Big Mac HOF hopes. He only got 23% in this last vote and he would need to somehow get that up to 75% if he wants in the hall. More then likely over time the stance toward these "steroid era" players will soften.

there all cheaters fuck em. I remember the likes of fred mcgriff in the early 90's when 30 homers a year got the job done and you were an all star every year. Now 30 homers isnt shit cause people like mcguire. Yeah he and sosa did save baseball when it was at its worst but damn man.

Possibly true... But this world doesn't seem to include sports writers. When it comes to HOF voting, they might have a bigger God complex than neurosurgeons. I think that Manny, Raffy, A-Fraud, etc. might be forgiven. Raffy was a borderliner anyway. But I think they might make examples out of Barry and Roger.

They only players in this steroid era that have any shot at the hall have to have a couple of things.
No ties to steroids. People have to believe for some reason that they were clean. Whether just want to refuse to believe that guy could do it or at the very least believe it was possible they didn't. They also have to be relatively liked as a person/player.
