| Apparently Evangelista was injured in training... Hope they find someone worthy to fight Noons, but it sounds more like they will reschedule him in March or April... | |

| From a recent thread where Strikeforce was taking some flack for over booking this card. - Wolfgangsta wrote:
- Scheduling six fights so that one might ultimately get bumped to the preliminary card is a chance I'd take considering it is very very likely one or more of these fighters will get injured before hand and not be able to fight anyway. It is more likely four or less of these fights actually happen as reported here than this actually go down as planned with Noons or someone on the undercard.
Back at five fights again, aren't we?

| Oh, I def think this is for the best.
It would have been so gay if Noons was on the undercard while Walker trudged through 15 mins of blah with some scrub on broadcast TV.
Just coincidence that this comes out hours after Manhoef becomes official for that date?

| Not at all. Cards in recent times have been losing fighters non stop. Over booking is required at this point. | |

| I don't remember the card exactly, but Melvin will be on the main card, for certian if it's vs. Lawler, even with the Noon's fight off, doesn't a fight still have to be religated to the undercard? | |

| No, they can do the 5 fight card. Evolution was going to be a 5 fight main card until Lawler vs. Prangley got scraped. Carano-Cyborg was going to be a 5 fight card until Diaz pulled out and they had to replace him with potential rating killer Jesse Taylor. The two cards before that were both 5 fight main cards.
Sucks about Noons-Evangalista. I actually wanted to see that fight to see how Evangalista faired against a striker like Noons.

| The CBS cards r 4 fights, the showtimers are 5.
And perhaps they knew of Evangelista b4 they decided to put Manhoef on that card.
Def agree that overbooking is the smart thing to do.
