| Dude is lethal, Yvel is no joke standing too. Yeah he may be a little small for HW, plus you got those mammath wrestlers, but he's just one shot away.
What u think he'd be like as a LHW? where would u put him if he dropped down?

| I consider him the best striker at HW outside of Overeem and Fedor. | |

| I'd argue he is a canidate for the best HW striker in MMA at this point. He looked a lot less stiff than before and considering Overeem is a cheating fraud he is probably better than he is as well. Especially in the cage where he won't be able to grow his lats every three weeks after he is TKO'd. Fedor seems to out strike strikers so he is still the best, but Dos Santos looks pretty damn good. I wish they'd bring back AA so he could fight him. | |

| Coming around on my boy huh?
AA IMO is still the most talented HW striker, but he comes with a weak chin and leaves himself open at times. Dos would most likely KO him, but I'd watch htat fight all day

| Just curious what people think on this, I still think he's a legit top 10 HW, but he is a little small, as a LHW I think he could beat anyone on a given day | |

| I still can't call him top 10 until he beats someone in the top 10. Hopefully his next fight will be against someone better. I mean damn, it was Yvel's debut in the octagon and he just didn't look good at all. He was overmatched big time. It was an impressive performance for sure but he needs a step up in competition. | |

He's clearly a top 10 HW, he was before this fight and KO'd an extremely talented striker, Also Werdum was top 10 when Dos KO'd him. Not taking the time to order it but, Fedor, Brock, Nog, Mir, Cain, Barnett, Carwin, Dos Santos, Overeem, Werdum And Red, he weighed in at 237lb last night, that's obviously no cut

2. He's too slow for Shogun, Machida, and Rashad.

| Because he doesn't carry that much fat on him. Say he cuts 10-12lbs of water weight. That still leaves about 20-22lbs. | |

| Why would he want to, his is mowing through guys, 20 pounds of muscle is not a fun cut, he doesn't have the wiry body like Anderson that would let him do that and still maintain his strength, I think he needs to put on more weight about 10 pounds to be able to not get bulled around by Lesnar if he comes back and other HW's | |

| Why would he want to, it's obvious, although a devasting striker, that division is filled now with huge talented jj and wrestling fighters, who have some power thamselves, he's one of the smallest guys in that division, some outweigh him by 40+lbs, considering he weighed in at 237lbs. I'm a fan, and think he's def top 10 and has been, but it's a simple question of what he'd be like as a LHW. | |

| Why does he half to be a LHW? Cain's not a very big guy, neither is Nog. Just because Brock and Carwin are huge dosn't mean a more skilled fighter can't hang with them. He'll be ok. And if JDS isn't a top 10 guy then who the hell is? Yvel is pretty good at striking, Barnett had to take him down to beat him. | |

| But Cain is an elite wrestler and we haven't seen him face another good wrestler like Brock or Carwin yet to see if his size disadvantage would come into play. Nog train's Dos so that fight wouldn't happen. But Brock, Carwin and Mir are huge now, and while he's a more skilled striker, those 3 guys are more skilled in jj and wrestling, and have 40+ lbs on him, plus 1 punch power. Never said he had to be, but what if he was. | |

| I do not think he can cut to 205. Yet he can't hang with the guys who cut to make 265.
what is the hold up on the 235 division?

| He can hang don't get me wrong, the question was posed as why he'd want to drop, so I made the argument, really all I wanted to know was what he'd be like as a LHW, since he isn't that big, but no one answered. | |
