Whilst I agree Sherman shows no thug characteristics and there probably was a racial undertone in the use of the word in relation to him. I find it frankly unbelievable that a character such as him is given the authority to lecture people on whats what concerning such a divisive issue.

He isn't a thug, but imo he does deliberately and cynically cultivate an image in order to sell his merchandise to a section of society that has little understanding of what respect is or how it's earned.

I'd have thought uncle tom would be a more appropriate racial slur for a man who consciously seeks to exploit the nihilistic youth with his antics for his own monetary benefit rather than thug? Men like Sherman are a part of the problem, not the solution.

Sherman is a smart guy and a great corner, but he is a douche bag and a race card playing douche bag at that. He acted like an asshole, got treated like an asshole, and now he's playing the victim.
