Baghdad On the Verge of Falling? Empty
PostSubject: Baghdad On the Verge of Falling?    Baghdad On the Verge of Falling? EmptyThu Feb 06, 2014 3:48 pm

The ISIS leader Baghdadi called for attacks on Baghdad last week.
Two days ago suicide bombers struck outside the Capitol
Yesterday 3 attacks took place inside the green zone and 2 took inside the government capital complex where foreign countries are stationed.
Rockets were also launched into the city.
Today 7 separate suicide bombers have attacked in Baghdad.
Maliki is claiming his government has Fallujah encircled. The problem is the largely Shiite army knows they can't enter
The largely Sunni city without igniting a sectarian civil war.
They are attempting to get the Sunni tribes to lead the way in clearing out the city block by block just as our US Marines did.
It is clear that al qaeda goaded us into the two biggest battles of the Iraq war at a point in time when Bush was Trying to deescalate Iraq.
It's clear they are trying to draw Malikis Shiite government into a similar trap.
But while Maliki has been clearing out Ramadi ( I've heard Iraqi forces now hold 75% of the city) And encircling Fllujah,
The isis has been attacking Mosul, the Kurds in the north in Kurdistan and now it is clear; Baghdadi is attempting to come gone to baghdad.
If Baghdad falls within two years of our iraq exit, it will be the worst case scenario and iraq will likely split apart.

The region is on the verge of all out Sunni - Shiite civil war stretching across Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.
Maliki is attempting to copy our surge strategy by reigniting another Sunni awakening but the Sunnis don't trust him because he already largely
Screwed them over already.

Problem is 68% of the American public is against going back in any way
100 us marines died in fallujah, over 1,000 died in the Anbar province
A lot of blood and treasure was wasted for nothing in that war

It's not the American public's decision to make. Obama says go and we go...and we would go.

See I believe that this is a direct effect of us invading iraq and starting a sectarian civil war.
Al qaeda being on the verge of toppling baghdad is a direct result of us policy.
We won't go back there under obama . No chance
I just think it's really pathetic American media doesn't cover it.
This is proof though, we were occupying country that was going through a civil war.
We are lucky we aren't in the middle of two right now (Iraq , Syria)

He's already said there isn't a chance in hell

But Iraq has just hired 5,000 American security contractors to do their fighting
