| He will be back to take on a future champion within 18 months and it will sell crazy numbers. No way at his age that this is his last fight. I guess I'm just being hopeful for an awesome and historic fight though. | |

| I think when GSP comes back, the playing filed is drastically leveled for him as compared to the last 9 years. Should be very interesting. | |

| The best part of all of the GSP fights was when Jackson told him to hit a dude with his groin. He needs to have a comeback so people don't forget him in 25 years. | |

It's not exactly cut and dry. GSP only fought in 2 more title fights, and only two more title defenses than Hughes does. Very similar careers as champions too. | |

Yeah but GSP was way more dominant, won 2 of 3 fights against Hughes when he was still growing as a fighter and both at their peaks GSP wrecks him. |

| How was GSP way more dominant? He's only defended the belt twice more than Hughes did and this last fight was close as all get out. GSP owns two wins over Hughes when he was 34+ years old, 46 and 48 fights into his 8 and then 9 year fighting career. Hughes' peak vs GSP's peak is still alot closer to 50/50 than you make it out to be. | |

| If both were at their peaks and they fought what do you think the score would be in a 5 round fight or what do you think happens? I think GSP wins 50-45 or submits Hughes. |

| I honestly think it could go a few ways. Hughes could snag his share of takedowns and work a top game, or GSP could do what he did to Koscheck and jab Hughes for five rounds. However this is not an indication toward how GSP is a way more dominant champion than Hughes was. | |

| I just think GSP best way better fighters than Hughes did. He probably wasn't way more dominant as a champ but I think it's the consensus that GSP is the WW GOAT. |
