The corruption is getting pretty scary. Especially the IRS thing. That is Nixon shit right there even if you successfully spinned Benghazi and phone snooping(which you can't really, but they try). Using the IRS as a weapon against your political opponents in a democracy is repulsive. However, they got caught with the hand in the cookie jar, it's getting coverage, and just about everybody who is capable of a momentary thought of rationality thinks this is sick.

IRS scandal seems legit. If white house is tied to it, that's some serious Bullshit.

Don't really know much about the AP stuff.

Still think Benghazi is repub's trying to exploit a guys death.

So it doesnt bother you were were lied to repeatedly about the circumstances? That we were told it was a riot over a video ? That we were unaware and that there were actions that could be made to save american lives due to terroist attack? Rice and Clinton were relieved from their positions due to this but the president himself said it was his fault??? Why the shake up?

BTW on the AP stuff holder just confirmed 20 AP was bugged when asked the total number collectively he could not answer

I don't know if they lied or not. Nor do I know why they lied if they did. Perhaps in trying to smother potential flames of war they downplayed the terrorist aspect. Would people be happy if Obama said it's terrorists and then sent troops into Libya?

Is that spin? No more then republicans are trying to spin it.

And clinton was not relieved from their position due to Benghazi. Pretty standard for cabinet members to step down after the first term.

AP and IRS stuff is BS. And very frustrating. Not sure how much Obama or the white house had to do with it, but it is the kind of stuff that leads one to be cynical of gov't, and why I don't take politics too seriously, for it seems no matter who the politician is, sooner or later there will be issues.

Did you even think before you typed that question? No, government wants to admit that they failed to protect their own citizens. Errors in national security = Bad PR.

Benghazi is pathetic, republicans playing politics when 4 americans died. Yet lets forget the 3,000 americans that died under Bushs watch or the Phoenix Meme
the AP wire tapping is tricky, its illegal to have white house leaks, this administration has gone after more whitehouse leaks than the previous and I am for that. THat being said, Holder may have committed perjury.

THe NSA is needed and would have led to the capture of 9-11 hijacker Hani Hanjour had it been in place prior to 9-11 (the FBI and CIA would have been forced to share information, CIA new Hanjour was an Al Qaeda member who was likely in the US, FBI was looking for him abroad)
Drones are needed, they work and they even limit civilian casualties.

THe idea that were just going to let terrorists hang out in north and south qaziristan is a Rand Paul pipe dream, I would rather have drones killing terrorist with minimal civilian casualties opposed to an american pilot doing large scale bombing raids.

Also its important to remember the NSA has been cleared and it has been shown they have broken no laws , they could in the future, but as of now, they haven't

and Mitch McConnell signaled the IRS scandal is over mainly because Issa for the second time now
has changed/altered or chosen certain segments of security briefing, not in their entirity.
