| If Lesnar remains sidelined for an extended period of time, would Carwin be open to a bout with Mir?
"The answer is easy: yes," Carwin wrote on his official Web site, shane-carwin.com. "I am not a fighter who decides who he fights. I fight who I am told to fight. I like it that way. I am not trying to build a legacy; I am trying to fight the best fighters in the World and determine where I fit in.
"Mir is a multiple-time champion who has been counted out more [than] Mike Tyson to only find himself right back at the top. He is a legend of the sport, and I would be honored to fight him." | |

| I say Mir v Carwin, Nog v Cain then the winners of those to fight for interim title if Brock isn't back soon. | |

| And if Brock is back soon give it to Carwin if he wins and the Nog-Cain winner of Mir wins. Mir can wait because he just had his shot and has already fought Brock twice. | |

| Carwin/Mir and Nog/Cain is the only way to go if u ask me, barring a quick recovery from Brock. If he recovers quickly, Carwin is still next and I'd then want to see Mir vs. Dos Santos (after he beats Yvel) winner take on the Nog vs. Cain winner for next shot. | |

| Mir vs Carwin could have potential to be a stand up war who would have thought that last year or year before. Mir's standup has vastly improved. | |
