| Askren or Hendricks?
Who has a better chance of beating GSP in a rematch? Condit or Diaz?

Out of those 2, which one would have the best chance at beating GSP?

| People thought I was crazy but I felt both Condit and GSP were very rusty during their fight and I think both men looked much better this weekend. They both had more energy and more explosiveness this time, which is understandable. I think they could have put on a much more entertaining fight this time around. I wish Condit would fight every round like he is down on the scorecards. That's when NBK starts to come out. | |

| Hendricks and Diaz.
I believe a more active and less rusty Diaz would have took advantage of those periods where GSP was standing with him.

| My friends I was watching this with were in disbelief at Diaz approach to the fight (they all love Diaz). Literally speechless. He flat out did not defend a handful of take downs early, but then when he did a few times he stayed on his feet, later, again little attempt to prevent the take down. On the feet in almost every round GSP beat Diaz to the punch in exchanges. GSP's left hook and jab would land over and over before Diaz could even get his punch off. Then he just wouldn't throw. I was queastioning weather Diaz quit in the 2nd round, he came back though and put together a decent segment in the third round though so I stopped questioning it. | |

| I wasn't really surprised that Nick was letting GSP hit him but I was surprised that he didn't throw more himself. He always lets his opponent hit him, especially when the shots have almost no power on them. GSP didn't land anything that even came close to hurting Nick and I wasn't surprised at all by him allowing GSP to slip in the jab without attempting to block or move. However I thought he would throw some in return and attempt to get George to throw harder shots. GSP was smart though he took the open shots and never pushed it too hard.
I still think Nick is the better standup fighter and allowing himself to get hit was attempting to get GSP to throw harder. Nothing GSP through was hurting Nick so he didn't have a reason to dodge it really, in his mind atelast. But it's hard to figure out what goes on in his mind lol

| There were times when he wasn't worried about being struck, but many times in the first few rounds Nick would throw a right hook and GSP would pre-empt a left jab that would hit first. It stifled and I think Surprised Diaz that GSP was fast enough for that. Messed up his game early. | |

| I think Nick is getting too much credit for defending the takedown. It looked to me that GSP gave up on takedowns that he didn't set up well in order to not waste energy grinding it down when he could disengage and take a better shot next time. | |

Yeah I agree. I think it was more GSP deciding to reset instead of using the energy. He knew if let it go he could set it up better and waste less energy. If he really wanted to he could have kept on pushing and got Nick on his back every time. It just would have taken more energy.

| Nick didn't really defend them, GSP was just noticeably more tired than usual by the 3rd round and his takedown game is completely based on explosiveness | |

| In the post fight conference GSP said he was tired in the 3rd round. Looks like not only does Nick have unlimited energy but he can sap his opponents energy also |
