It was a very small quote in an interview. But it got alot of focus. But new thread? Really?

imo GSP has to lay-n-pray to a decision here and be careful not to get subbed in the process. I really don't see him wanting to exchange with nick. Lot's of takedowns, lot's of position battles and positional control. The only advantage GSP has in this fight is wrestling and strength.

He would probably win a standup fight too with just a basic jab and leg kicks

Well...GSP was on the Joe Rogan experience..or is currently on the Joe Rogan experience. Said he will fight Anderson Silva...at 170 pounds. Why? Anderson Silva made 170 in Japan. Nevermind that was over 10 years ago when he was in his mid 20's and has since been cutting from well over 200. Sure it would be no issue to make that weight now. What's a decade+?
