| I was in the hospital for a week two months ago with diverticulitis. It hurt bad and I didn't eat for three days. I lost about 20 pounds and didn't have much strength for the next two weeks. Guess Brock has to change up his diet like I have. As long as he doesn't eat certain foods that can get trapped in his intestines and become infected he should be fine. Get your fiber on Brock! | |

| Nope. If it comes back and I get another infection then I will get six to eight inches of either my intesines or colon cut out? Pretty bad that I can't remember which? Here is what happened. I couldn't crap good for about two weeks, felt bloated, was bloated, and had very bad gas pains and pain when I pressed on my stomach. When I got to the hospital I drank three big jugs of nasty yellow stuff. Then I was hooked to an IV and was given tons of different Meds. When I got out after a week I continued taking the antibiotics for a week. I have corrected my diet and have been fine ever since. | |

| Is Carwin really going to wait till July just for a shot at the title ?
I know he's just had a kid and injury but he needs to get active and sharp. |

| You would think they'd give Brock a warm up fight before he takes on someone like Carwin but damn...what if Brock lost the warm up??? Some C-level heavyweight might have the belt...
I guess they'll just have to make sure that Brock is back at 100% from this before he defends his belt.

| Well let us assume some of the hype "he has only been operating at 60%" is only half true, then that added 20% is still pretty scary. I don't like him, but he is a polarizing character in the world's fastest growing sport. | |

| I don't buy that shit, he's been operating just fine with no pain until recently. | |

What would they lie for if he was hurt then he was hurt. I dont see the big advantage of lying about it.

| Why wouldn't he have said anything if he was 100%? These guys do 8 week training camps preparing for fights and you believe that through that entire time he didn't notice that his body was operating at 60%??? Bullshit.
Brock works out for a living, he would know when something isn't right with his body. He didn't know anything was wrong until the pain started. He was no doubt operating at full strength during his fights, no fucking way he wasn't.

I forgot to mention the hour of volcanic eruption from my rear after I drank that yellow crap(about an hour of it) Picture Jeff Bridges on Dumb & Dumber). They put me in some kind of machine for a few minutes. I could only eat beef or chicken broth for three days. I had my blood taken every day, shots in the belly also every day. prolly forgetting a few things. I put all my weight back on and feel fine now. If Brock had surgery then it was a worse infection (or he was given bad advice by a doctor) I can see why he lost much more weight.

He was no doubt operating at full strength during his fights, no fucking way he wasn't. Im not saying he was 50 or 60 percent but maybe he was only at 80 or so and fought through it. After awhile the pain got unbearable cause he never took care of it?? Just a thought. Other fighters have been known too fight through injuries so I just think it isnt out of the realm of possibility.

When Jeff Bridges sits on the toilet, he only looks badass while putting on his sunglasses that he just removed from said toilet because his face was shoved into it.
