Never in a million years did I expect that outcome........THIS IS WHY I LOVE BOXING.

good for Marquez. Always liked him. One of the better KO's i've seen in any combat sport.

Pac had a pretty deep slide from where he was 3 years ago. Just shows how quickly guys leave their peak.

But if we are saying the slide has took 3 years, and the bottom of that pit is losing to a great fighter in JMM in what sounds like a great fight, I wouldn't be so quick to talk about how far Pac has fallen.

Anyone think JMM can talk his way into a Floyd rematch?

I know the first fight was uncompetitive, but his strategy to put on weight for that fight did not look like the smartest plan. and he has looked great both physically and speed wise in these more recent fights.

Obviously Floyd Pac is out, but do we start now to talk Floyd JMM II?

And does the talk of juicing get brought up?

There is virtually no point in a Mayweather rematch, the fight was completely lopsided to the point where Floyd made a legend like Marquez look like an amateur. Also I am pretty sure Bob Arum will have options on Marquez's next fight.

I really hope Marquez retires as this really is the most perfect time for Juan to walk away on an ultimate high. Marquez is 39 and has achieved alot in his career, the only thing that was keeping him going was those close loses to Pac where he felt he'd been given the wrong side of a decision, and now he's put an exclamation mark on that saga with a clear knockout victory.

As for the juicing I don't buy it, Marquez just took his preparation very series and always had the style to give Pac nightmares. Plus Ring magazine actually done a feature on his physique with side to side pictures of his body from the weigh-in's of the third and fourth fight and there was almost little difference.

It's a bit loud.

i'm delighted for marquez.

whilst i am a fan of pacquiao i'm also a fan of marquez and there's no question he deserved that.

in my mind, marquez is now 3-1 v manny

I think it's safe to say last night produced KO, Round and Fight of the Year.

I wouldn't be shocked if it was announced but man that was a heavy knockout, Pac might not recover.

I'm not saying he stinks now or anything...but the slide i'm referring to is not just last night. I thought Manny had lost a step in the Mosley, Marquez III, and Bradley fights. Not where he was when he fought Oscar, Cotto, Hatton, Margarito, and Clottey. I think a lot of it coincides with his growing involvement in governement in his home country the past few years.
