because that fight last night was a joke and a farce. it wasn't a good fight or a good win, the only thing that got proven was if you act like an idiot long enough you're going to get caught not who was the better fighter.

It doesn't matter how the fight was. We don't know that if Anderson was trying his best that he would've won. We have definitive prove that Weidman can beat Anderson. Until Anderson beats Weidman or Weidman loses to someone that Anderson has already beaten then Weidman has to be ranked higher.

So you can do your rankings without watching fights? Just MMA math is all you need?

Well I disagree, the contest far from showed which of the two men was better, it just showed that showboating will bite you in the ass eventually.  That got Chris the W and the title.

Would (enter any bum you want to in this slot) prove to be the better fighter than Silva if looped one on his chin while he was cheesing?  No, he'd prove that doing that was stupid.

IMO all the taunting in the world couldn't mask the fact that Chris was winning every second of the fight. Not that Anderson can't win a rematch, but on that night I thought Chris looked better in every way. But you can put most of that on Anderson's antics.

I gave Chris the 1st round also. Silva spent most of the fight cheesing so he really didn't do much of anything.

Chris got the round for sure, I think if they have a rematch that the fight will look more like the 1st round for the majority of the fight. I think Chris will be able to pass the guard eventually and I think he has the combination of power and technique to pull off one of his chokes. I was pleasantly surprised to see him go after a leg, he showed no fear in that fight, just like he said he would. I think it's going to take a focused Anderson Silva to pull off the win. I see no reason why my pre-fight hype/expectations don't still hold true.

Anderson started acting like that because he was afraid of being taken down and was trying to goat Weidman into standing with him. Weidman is just a bad matchup for Anderson.
