Negatives:
-Kimbo vs Houston -Hamill vs Jones -Missing 4 minutes of the Schoonover vs McSweeney fight -the endless amount of commercials -Chuck vs Tito announcement -Hulk Hogan Interview

| I give a 5 as well. The Spike events always suck because of the 8 million fuckin commercials. I usually start taping it and then let like half hour increments go by and then get caught up just so I don't have to sit through all of it | |

| The TUF announcement was a great thing Ninja!
Look at it this way; Would you rather TUF mottle up a title picture for eight months again? Wouldn't you like Chuck to have the opportunity to not go out on a string of horrific knockouts or perhaps Tito to get a chance to even the score like Rampage did? Wouldn't you rather this stupid show exploit faded stars while retaining someting semi interesting than tie up GSP, other titles, contenders and divisions for months and months like it has at HW, LHW and other weight classes?

That is a good way of looking at it I guess, although I'm not in the least excited for Tito vs Chuck 3. I personally won't be watching the next season though. I think TUF has officially run it's course and this season proved it.

| Kimbo ruined it. Roy saved it.
I was on another forum and people are saying "Kimbo has a ground game now"
Sorry Seth and Roy. No matter how much this bum gets exposed. People will look for an excuse to hype him up.

What forum was that? The ESPN board? It was Sherdog. In one of the heap of Kimbo threads. I even saw one that said "Kimboplex > Randleplex" Not only was Randleman's suplex more devastating. He did that suplex on Fedor f'n Emelianenko. Not Houston Alexander.

| Whether u like it or not, Kimbo has that everyman likablilty, similar to Forrest but obviously different because Forrest as actual skills, people are always gonna like him, and coming out of TUF I found him to be far different than I previously thought, he was thrown into this and is doing the best he can, I give him credit for trying to improve himself as a fighter, it's obvious he's gonna be exposed by real fighters | |

| I give it about an 8 and I liked the Kimbo vs Alexander fight. I didnt watch any of the commercials.
I did see the Hulk Hogan thing. Man he needs to retire and what in the hell is TNA thinking?? Going against the WWE is suicide. WWE has been running wrestling companies out of business for decades and not one them has survived once Vince get serious about them.

I think they said they are going head to head with WWE for one night...and yes, thats going to turn out bad but they'll live.

| Dag still hating on Kimbo?
If you pick Kimbo to get KO'd, but then he wins the fight, don't then turn around and say he was fighting a nobody.
No the slam was not on the Randleman level, but it was sweet, and Kimbo unlike randleman actually won the fight.

| I thought it was awful.
Loved the Nelson win. Dana is going to have to deal with him whether he likes it or not, but I hope Schaub gets signed too. He's a talented kid that just got caught in that same area where Randy got caught against Brock.
Kimbo vs. Houston SUCKED. Kimbo was the only one bringing excitement, but this one-punch KO power that everyone talks about seems like a joke. I've never seen him do it. That knee though will prevent him from being a an average fighter though.
I actually was bored with the McSweeney fight. I guess I just don't like seeing that guy win.
Mitrione looked bad. Marcus Jones even worse. Heavyweights just suck.
Edgar and Bocek were good, but the Jones fight was like watching a car wreck. Did that sweep injure Hamill? He didn't even try to buck his way out.

| He didn't have time to buck his way out. Jones just went off on Hamill. He was looking to finish the fight once he got the dominate position. More guys needs Jones's attitude. | |

If Kimbo did not clearly win, he at least handed out way more damage. I thought rounds 1 and 3 were draws, Kimbo took round 2 10-8 Kimbo had 2 weaknesses in that fight. 1)His knee, which looks very vulnerable to any sort of leg kicks 2)his stamina. Totally gassed in the 3rd despite havng a 1st round with zero action.

But why didn't Houston go after Kimbo after he kicked out his leg? between that and the incessent circling in the first I could not help but think conspiracy.

| I think Houston was too afraid of getting KO'd.
Fight Metric has the stats up from the fight. Their scores are interesting, by the 10 point must system they had it 30-29 for Kimbo. Which means they scored the first and 3rd round 10-10. There is really no debate about who won the 2nd round.
Round 1 shows Kimbo landing 4 of 8 head jabs and that's it for the round. Shows Alexander landing 1 of 6 power strikes to the head, 4 of 5 leg power strikes, and 7 of 12 leg jabs (what they call them).
Round 3 shows Kimbo landing 4 of 17 head power shots, 5 of 9 head jabs, 3 of 3 power body shots, and 1 body jab as well as 1 takedown(must have been thepush down). Shows Alexander 4 of 14 head power shots, 6 of 12 head jabs, 7 of 7 body jabs, 3 of 4 leg power shots, and 7 of 11 leg jabs.
