| At this point in their careers (factor in age, current skill level, potential skill level down the road, injury status, etc...) who do you want to build your team around?
11-12 Player - Age - PPG - FG% - RPG - APG Eric Gordon - 23 - 20.6 - 45.0% - 2.8 - 3.4 (only played 9 games last year) Manu Ginobili - 35 - 12.9 - 52.6% - 3.4 - 4.4 James Harden - 23 - 16.8 - 49.1% - 4.1 - 3.7 Andre Iguodala - 28 - 12.4 - 45.5% - 6.1 - 5.5 Joe Johnson - 31 - 18.8 - 45.4% - 3.7 - 3.9 Dwyane Wade - 30 - 22.1 - 49.7% - 4.8 - 4.6 Kobe Bryant - 34 - 27.9 - 43.0% - 5.4 - 4.6
-----
Reason I'm doing this poll is because a ton of people in Houston aren't excited about the Harden trade and I just don't understand why. | |

You think 2 years of Kobe is better than several of these other guys (minus Manu) | |

You think 2 years of Kobe is better than several of these other guys (minus Manu) Probably. I know he has mileage on him but at 34, Kobe can play for another 3-4 years at a high level and out of all those guys, i really only see Kobe and Wade as guys you can build around anyway. I have a feeling Wade isnt gonna be that great in 3-4 years time because i think his overall game is more dependent on athleticism than Kobe's is..and Wade will be beginning a rapid decline by the time Kobe's 36 in my opinion. Kobe will still be a better player. I would rather take my chances with 2 years of Kobe than 10 years of Iggy, Eric Gordon, Joe Johnson(who isnt getting any younger himself). Somebody like Harden. We'll see. While he was very good off the bench and you would think he will imrpove..it could have just been the right role for him. I'd like to see him as the guy, which he figures to be in Houston before i would say i would want 7 years of Harden over 2 years of Kobe. I'll reserve judgement while he spends some time with Houston. | |

| Kobe is the best SG right now but I wouldn't build my team around any SG that is currently playing besides Kobe or Wade. No other SG is worth the max contract. |

| LOL I think you are a little too excited about James Harden. If he is your best player, you aren't going very far. | |

LOL yeah he sure is. I had no idea Houston would be so excited to make the Thunders 4th best player their franchise player. Where exactly do they think this puts them? They are still well below the Thunder and we took all there meaningful draft picks. | |

To be fair, I think Harden is top 5 SG, he is close to Joe Johnson and AI. But I wouldn't want him to be "the man" on my team. He is gonna need more then Linsanity helping him. | |

I don't think you realize how shitty the rockets were going to be. No one is saying the rockets are a contender but how often do you get a star player at 23 without giving up another star or top 3 draft pick. | |

They make OKC look old. Only 2 players on roster with 3 years or more experience? I guess you don't need those draft picks we ripped from you. But I'll take em. Does this make Houston as good as say, the Nuggets? | |

| The Rockets have a top 25 player now. Did we have one on the roster before? With Lowry traded away that leaves Lin (big unknown) and Martin (76 on espn 2012 rankings). | |
