Melvin Manhoef signs with Strikeforce

Damn. Noons and Manhoef in the same day. Prangley coming up. Productive roster moves but whatever happened to Coker's announcement of "two big heavyweight signings" ?

The possible matchups at 185 for Manhoef make this as exciting(though not as important) a signing as any af the moves by SF in the last year.

I still wanna see Manhoef and Anderson go at it.

Anderson would absolutely destroy Manhoef. Although Melvin has some crazy power in his hands for his size, he has been knocked out numerous times in his kickboxing career. His standup is pretty sloppy and get's exposed easily by fighters who are not afraid of Melvin's power and barrage of punches he likes to throw. Just rewatch his fight Cyborg and picture Anderson in there instead. The fight wouldn't last 3 minutes because Anderson would pick him apart.

I used to think that would be an epic fight, not so much anymore. Le vs Manhoef , and Lawler vs Manhoef will be dope.

Yeah. Anderson vs. Manhoef would be a massacre.

Manhoef is just an exciting fighter and is money for any undercard against another guy who likes to bang. You can't go wrong with Manhoef.
