| Stephan can take a punch better then Forrest. I would be impressed if Anderson was able to put Bonnar away in round 1. I don't think he can. | |

| Anderson wont fight Weidman because it wont sell enough? does he think a fight with Bonnar will sell more? |

Yeah it is pretty annoying that Anderson won't fight Weidman. Would be sweet justice if Bonnar put him out cold. I would enjoy that very much.

| He's stepping in to save a card a Brazil one at that, really man enough with the blind hatred already.
Bonnar may not be an elite LHW but he'll bring it to Silva and will make it entertaining while it lasts. |

Yeah hopefully he isn't smothered for 3 rounds. I don't care who wins, as long as they go for it.

Good chins don't really help against Anderson. If he comes out aggressive Bonnar will get hit cleanly early and often and get put away whenever Silva wants. Chael, Hendo, etc have good chins too, but that accuracy and speed with those gloves is just too much

Chael, Hendo, etc have good chins too, but that accuracy and speed with those gloves is just too much Hendo's chin held up. He fell but he still knew where he was. Also Stephan has more heart then Chael Sonnen. I don't think Anderson has what it takes to put Stephan away in round 1.

| Man I fucking hope that Zuffa learned something from UFC 151. Don't be afraid to use the talent available and stack the cards. It's not just injuries, the UFC is not using it's talent like it should be. They are worried about water down cards and dropping PPV #s? Then don't be afraid to stack a card. If your big boys are ready to throw down, get them on a card. Hell both Aldo and Edgar have defended their belts on the same card before, they shouldn't have an issue putting them on another card with a Championship fight. | |

That's not some crazy statement. Bonnar is a tough dude. He took some very hard shots throughout the entire Bones fight. They only time he was ever stopped in round 1 was 9 years ago vs Machida and that was a fucking cut. I think Bonnar's durability is being underplayed. He can take an asswhoopin as well as anyone in MMA.

| I find that to be a wafer thin wafer to stand on. He can take a beating because he is tough doesn't in anyway make me think that Silva's KO finishing ability is mitigated. Silva knocks fools out better than Bonnar can handle getting beat up imo. Silva has what it takes to finish just about anyone within 5 minutes. | |

True that, you've been demanding Bonnar Main events for a while. Bonnar is cool, nice they let him step in for this.

I don't think Anderson is a God. I don't think he hits any harder then some of the men Stephan has been hit by. Stephan has been assaulted by elite fighters and survived. IMO he can take any punishment Anderson can dish out early in the fight. Even if you just want to play stats geek and look at it that way, odds are Stephan won't be finished in round 1. It's an extremely safe bet.

| When you say Silva isn't a good enough striker to stop Bonnar, let alone anyone really, within 5 minutes, you're taking a lonely road. | |

| Safe bet? Son you crazy. Bonnar is probably even slower than Griffin, its going to look embarrassing. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to wrestle him | |

I'm more implying that no one can stop Stephan more then I am that Anderson can't stop anyone. Anderson has stopped multiple people in round 1. But Stephan has only been stopped once in round 1(cut) 9 years ago at HW vs Machida. So Spider lovers can go over board if they want. But Stephan's chin can handle Anderson's assault for 5 minutes and you are crazy if you think that is a crazy statement.

Where am I loosing you guys? Is it that crazy to say that Anderson Silva can't put Bonnar away in 5 min or less? How is that a crazy statement? You guys act like Bonnar is being hit by nerf gloves in these other fights. The man has been blasted as hard or harder then what Anderson is capable of. The man has a world class chin that can hold up to the world class striking of Anderson for atleast a round. You guys act like I'm saying Bonnar stands a chance in this fight. Get real you guys, Anderson is no MMA God. Stephan has been in the cage with great fighters before and managed to see round 2. You guys are the crazy ones.

| I don't think Bonar is a God. He can be stopped in the first round like anyone else. It's a fact that he has never been stopped in the first, but that doesn't mean it's a fact that things will stay that way especially against someone with Silva's talents. | |
