Arkansas in talks with Charlie Strong

Man 2 weeks into the season and they gotta deal with that? It's unbelievable the high standards and zero pay the kids are held too, yet the coaches are allowed to make all the money in the world while displaying zero scrupples.

If he has a good season we will give him 5 million a year. We had the money. The Big 12 will call at seasons end. If not, Petrino needs a job. Id take him back if HCCS leaves.

Got ten months/1season. FYI John L only won at Louisville because he had great assistants. They didn't go to Michigan state with him and some spread out. Petrino went from o cood to head coach. JOHN L is done.


Charlie Strong just said he could drive home in a few hours,lol. He is happy and said we wont lose our bcs bid for many years legally, so why would i leave because of that?

And while Smith MIGHT be safe for this year, his long terms prospects with Ark are very poor. Im sure the Charlie Strong rumors will swirl again after the season.

Strong told Jim Rome he owes it to the school that gave him his first head coaching to stay and complete what they started. He also said he wouldn't run out on the kids he recruited because he isn't cut that way. Tom Jurich will match any offer that any school comes with. Not too many schools wanna play big bank with UofL. We got crazy money!

So what he is really saying is he has no interest in taking on those monsters in the SEC and his pay will go up when they get in the Big 12 anyways.

Pretty much. Can't wait for 2014. Jurich is trying to finish up a deal with Michigan and a te a m from the Pac 12 or Big 12. I only wish it was for the 2013 season cause we have everyone coming back next year. We should start the 2013 in the top 15 imo.
