Michigan State Tweets

So I saw on one of the shows on espn that the head coach for michigan state got mad at his players for talking shit about michigans loss to bama on twitter. Anyway the guys on the show were talking about whether or not coaches should be able to ban twitter from their players during the season, whats your opinions on that?

Haven't they won 3 in a row vs Michigan?

I'm on the fence on this one thats why I thought I'd bring it up

You kind of expect college kids to say dumb shit on twitter. What did you expect after that performance? Robinson was very mature about it. I don't think it's an issue. It's just tweets, plenty of dumb tweets out there.

I agree lots of dumb tweets, but I think it does make your team look bad. And it gives michigan alot of motivation to whoop on them. Telling them to keep other teams and players out of their tweets seems ok to me but not a complete ban on twitter

I don't think it makes the team look bad, might make the individuals themselves look bad. I also don't see it as motivation. I don't think it will make Michigan want to beat their in state rivals any more then they already do. A couple comments won't impact the intensity in that game IMO.

If that is the worst thing I can say about players on my team, I'm fine with that. At the end of the day it's just a tweet from some college kid.

It's going to be a competitive game again this year. But you are right, they will never pass Michigan as a program. They are still below Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin as a program.
