As far as Edgar vs Aldo, certainly like it better then Koch, whom I couldn't pick out of a lineup.

Wouldn't call it a superfight given Edgar's 2 straight losses and the fact that neither are superstar status.

I'll pick Aldo, but Edgar not being much smaller for the first time ever is pretty important. Weight cut could play a role too. Also think Edgar's movement will help him stay away from the leg kicks. at least to an extent. Don't think we will see a Faber(who was much smaller mind u) here.

If it goes long I do like Edgar's chances more, but still think Aldo takes it.

Edgar's last 5 fights will have been for the title despite having only one win during that time.

Edgar won't be as outsized as he was with Maynard, but Aldo is still the bigger man. Edgar barely cuts to make 155. I think he said he usually walks around at like 158-160 or something like that. Aldo has been having trouble making 145 of late because he's packing on mass in anticipation of a move up to 155. Frankie's movement didn't do much for him in avoiding leg kicks against Bendo in his last fight. Bendo landed kicks to the legs up until he stopped throwing leg kicks. Frankie can probably strike with Aldo in a straight up boxing match, but those leg kicks are going to be a problem unless he can figure out a way to stop Aldo from throwing them early and often.

Frankie's style does him no favors with an absolute killer like Jose. He essentially has to survive four rounds until Aldo is dead tired(and that's not a given, Jose looked fine in the fifth round with Florian) or survive five rounds while winning at least 3 of them. 25 minutes is a long time for Aldo to land something and kill Frankie's face or kick his leg off.

I can't wait to see Aldo face guys like Bendo and Maynard.
