I'm really thinking of just not ever buying a ppv with Jones on it..... unless BJ is on the same card.

You'll buy 152 because it's going to feature a future GOAT......

I don't see how they can use a DUI that's months old.
Nothing says they can't. But Jon ought to remember shit like that when he makes these decisions about doing a favor here and there for his employers.

The problem is Jones thinks he is bigger then the sport now, and he doesn't think he should be held responsible for anything that happened, I would laugh my ass off if the Vitor fight never goes down, and Jones refuses to fight the replacement, I don't care how good the kid is you want your Champions to be the face of the orginization, polarizing and interesting, the only thing interesting about this kid is the fact that he says and does the wrong shit almost daily, you probably can't cut him but I do agree with stripping the belt

Well if you can take any good away from all the recent wackiness, people should be fired up for a UFC card by the time this thing finally rolls around. Nothing up until the 22 except the TUF seasons premiering

Big difference here is, Jones is the best in the world at his profession. And if he were to go to another org, despite his flat terrible public image, he does give that organization a huge shot in the arm in terms of legitimacy.
Most normal folks don't carry that weight.

And it will be interesting to see the reaction Jones gets, both entering the ring, and post fight.
I'm assuming the loudest boo's for a fighter ever in the UFC. Nevermind a champ.
Though I do expect better then your average recent ppv buy rate.

No one is bigger than the sport. Sylvia and Arlovski learned that the hard way.

Both guys didn't produce outside the UFC. That was the problem in both cases.

AA and Timmy both left the UFC by choice. Neither guy was cut.

Well maybe I was unclear on Ludo's point. I thought he was saying both guys careers tanked once they left the UFC. My response was to that. Maybe it wasn't his point.

My point wasn't about who got cut or who did well outside the UFC. My point was both of those guys left the UFC thinking they were bigger than the situation they were currently in(or more money) and found out the hard way what thinking too highly of yourself can lead to in this sport.

"Chael Sonnen is in full training camp right now," White told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). "He's been training since he got offered the Jones fight. He said, 'I'm in full camp right now because Vitor will get hurt and pull out, and it will be Jones vs. Sonnen, anyway."

Better question: Why don't Jones or GSP have belts in that picture?
